Firstly, the receptionist was very rude and abrupt. She was unnecessarily aggressive at me for asking a basic question. The room was nowhere near as nice as the photos on the website. The latches on the windows felt flimsy, and unsafe. The bathroom felt dirty and even had stains in the sink. The room smelled like someone used to smoke in there. There are kitchen facilities, with tea and coffee, but you'll need to bring your own milk. Also, the wi-fi doesn't really work. To their credit, the sheets looked clean, however it felt like our skin was crawling all night. Considering that for $30 more, you can stay at a reputed hotel in this town, there is no point in staying here, and I certainly won't be staying here again.

Very simple but was cheap as chips. Most of all it was very clean and staff were nice ( I think everyone in the 'Naki' is). The provided iron malfunctioned but hardly the end of the world. WiFi was good, city centre just down the road. All good.

A last minute booking and not a lot else available in town. This is a temporary housing motel which gave as some concerns. The place is very run down, the bed was ok, but won't stay again. Shame because a good location to CBD. Pet friendly.

We made the mistake of not checking the reviews like many others and what a disaster this place is. From the minute we arrived seeing the state of the rooms outside, put me off wanting to step foot inside. It was obvious as soon as we arrived that majority of the units were taken up of emergency housing tenants that are most undesirable. All the long term emergency tenants were loitering outside yelling to one another from across the units. We wish we took photos to attach to this now as they are far from what the website shows. False advertising. All amenities and bedding were atrocious and in a state of disrepair and very poor quality. Toilet was filthy, loads of flies in the room, had a gross pungent smell throughout the room. Tenants very noisy even with door closed and windows. Oil heater for heating and free standing fan for cooler. EVERYTHING about this place screamed gross. Room was very dirty. We walked in and walked back out taking the hit of losing $95 for our stay. Definitely not worth paying any amount of money...

This place was downright unsafe. My partner and I needed a quick place to stay in a thunderstorm for the night as camping was out of the picture - not reading the reviews was a huge mistake. There was copious amounts of mould in the shower and sink, the walls looked like they were falling apart and the dishes were covered in dust and stains. Not to mention that the heater looked like it had been hit by a sledgehammer, and the window latches were broken and would not seal properly. It’s also obvious that the other rooms have some interesting characters in them, AKA addicts and other dodgy looking folk. It didn’t feel safe leaving our vehicle with all our gear and equipment outside. We didn’t feel safe at all staying there so after approximately 30 minutes after arriving we cut our losses and found another place to stay - didn’t even get into the beds, it was THAT bad. We cannot believe the fact that this place is still in business and it does not seem like it would be up to any sort of code or...

It was Better than I expected considering all the bad reviews I read before. The lady who runs it is very nice helpful and attends to any needs straight away for example if you need new clean towels or sheets. The units are practical and cheapest place available in town to stay at , has a good self contained bathroom and kitchen with beds and tv with sky and mini table and chairs in the room. As long as you don’t expect a fancy hotel and don’t judge people who are in emergency housing then it’s a good cheap option . My only concerns was what seemed like some drug smoke coming out of the windrows from some other residents staying there in another room that I smelt when I walked to the car a couple of times. And out of the 4 weeks that I stayed there on one night there I heard some yelling/ domestics from another room. But for the most part it was fine and Overall was a practical cheap option to stay at for a few weeks , the lady running the place...
