Ms White — Restaurant in North Island

I found this place absolutely appalling, I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

My Friends and I have been wanting to visit Ms. Whites for a while now, as we have seen and heard great things about the place. As soon as we walked in the looks from staff were quite unpleasant, I felt quite judged from just walking in. We stood and decided what we wanted to order and walked to the till, to which we were promptly asked our ages, and for ID. To which we obliged. Me being 17 was clearly an issue, and I was told I needed to leave the premises immediately because having a minor is something "we don't do here" this was upsetting but I understood, although there was no signage to state the place was 18+ not even on the website, all I was after was a pizza that everyone was raving about, nothing more. I left, but as I walked out was surprised to see a family, with their 3 children seated eating pizza as well as a mother holding a baby. I found this unfair, as I was just told I couldn't be here... but literal children were? regardless I waited for my friends in the car. Since we were clearly not allowed to dine in, we took our pizza else where. We had gotten the Margarita, and I was absolutely appalled by the amount of topping. The base was burned, which wasn't as much of an issue as it is wood fire, but the amount of cheese to sauce ratio was not right, even pizza hut or dominos is better than that.. for that price I wish we had just gone to pizza hut or dominoes!!

I found this experience awful, I feel discriminated against and the service was terrible. Will not...

Great location to get a drink and a bite to eat and the staff were super friendly... But sadly, the pizza I had was SOOO disappointing.

I ended up going for their special, which you'd think would be their speciality. But the pizza itself was so overcooked that the actual pizza was just crispy all the way through.

The serving of mozzarella wasn't particularly generous so the overall pizza base was just a little too plain for my liking (I unfortunately didn't take a picture of this).

I ended up trying my girlfriend's margarita pizza and this was slightly less overcooked but still seemed to be lacking something.

Maybe I just came at a particularly busy time, I would definitely like to try it...

We love our pizzas, and this is right up there with some of the best we have had. The dough was cooked perfectly with a nice crisp base that still had a good chew. They clearly use great quality ingredients as the toppings were superb. The combination of cheeses in the 4 cheese pizza is irresistible. In particular, the blue cheese is beautiful, could get a pizza just loaded with that bad boy. Service is great, and there is plenty of seating. They have an extensive list of different beers, I will definitely return to have a pizza...
