We love Ozone and support it anytime we come down to New Plymouth, we usually have a great experience but when we visited twice in the space of 3 days we had a really unpleasant experience with a FOH staff member called Rosie. Her whole attitude was unwelcoming in general from start to finish, but having to query a couple if things with her on a one to one basis she was unnecessarily rude and patronising towards us. We weren't given the correct coffee we so we queried it with her as you would, her response was very patronising as if we were stupid for asking. We were also over charged to which she told us we were wrong, after double checking we queried it a second time with a different staff member, she did give us some money back but it wasn't sorted out properly and we still feel like we weren't given the correct amount back, we could see they were busy so we just left it. We spoke to the manager about our experience, she was very understanding but I would like to speak to a more senior member of staff if there is an email I could be given to explain in more detail or I'm happy to chat to someone over the phone. We know this isn't a representation of Ozone as a whole but you have a member of staff that is letting...

We came here for some coffee on at 10.15am on a Sunday, Monica's down the road (which also sells Ozone coffee) was very busy due to Sunday brunch rush, so we popped down here in the hopes it wasn't as busy.

Lucky us, it was pleasantly buzzing with just a few customers eating/drinking in, and just a short line at the counter - seems like a secret gem hidden in the city! With beautiful interiors, a customer stand for tap and sparkling water and amazing cheesecake, definitely recommend! It was about an 8min wait for 3 coffees after ordering, and an extra 2min for the grilled open sandwich, take away.

Overall a great feeling cafe with fresh roasted coffee on-site (mild strength, not bitter, nice and smooth), fresh and great tasting variety of cabinet food, with some eat-in dishes available cooked on a grill (like eggs...

Visited early feb...Very nice decor and excellent coffee but awful service... We were immediately made to feel very unwelcome when we arrived, when a member of staff aggressively suggested we find a table to sit on before we dared to stand near the counter! Then later we were sat near an enormous fan that was very noisily blowing over our table. We asked if there was any chance it could be turned off, and were told by one member of staff that that would be fine.. Only 5 minutes later to have a different member of staff come over and aggressively tell us that the fan had to be kept on for "covid reasons", ironically this member of staff was not wearing a face mask. Customer service was extremely rude from one staff member in particular. Will not...

Love this place. (Pity I can't do 1/2 scores as it's a 4.5). Fun. Warm. Funky environment. Music level perfect. Knowledgable and great staff. Great homemade cabinet food. This is for people who want a coffee experience rather than just a coffee. Though if you're grabbing a coffee on the run, I'm sure you'll get a magnificent beautiful gorgeous taste sensation with your caffeine hit. Thank you to the amazing local who recommended this place.

This place was a little difficult for us to find but we persevered & wandered in. Glad we did!! It looks to be like a large tin shed from a distance, inside is spacious & airy with a laid back vibe. Dogs are made welcome & there is seating outside. This is probably the best coffee we have had on this trip so far. Absolutely spot on flavour & perfectly presented by the barista. Just loved it highly recommended
