AVOID ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICES & TERRIBLE FOREIGN CUSTOMER SERVICE** Very disappointing to book and PAY for accommodation for x4 people on their website only to get an email down the track demanding more money due to a glitch on their system. No solution or compensation was offered only a phone call from a bully customer service agent named James with bad English! Afterwards another email arrived stating you’ll get refunded in 5-10 working days. We are watching every dollar in this day and age and “James”who called me and consistently spoke over me whilst offering no solution and making the whole incident my problem made no attempt to calm the situation and basically stole my money at the start of our holiday! Shame on you!!!! In conversation with James I was consistently made to feel wrong as he pushed his agenda of hierarchy and righteousness instead of implementing a beneficial solution. So this review stands as testament to how I was treated and others need to beware! This company falsely advertised a going rate for 4 people and took my money…not only is this illegal in New Zealand to do this but is very bad business and any good company would have offered a positive solution or an alternative to compensate their mistake, NOT make the customer wrong and carrying this on in a sugar coated reply in the comment below. Read moreIt is clear from the newly built apartments/rooms that this is just a money venture and in no shape a customer focussed business.||We pre requested to use the sofa bed to which we were offered as they “couldn’t” split the king bed to two singles (even though it is zipped in the middle for this function). However on arrival no bedding or the sofa bed had been made up. Fine we’re adults we can sort. But upon pulling out the base it was clear this sofa bed was broken, but as no one picks up the contact phone no. you have to go back to the office, a 3 minute drive, 10 minute walk. Spoke with a lady who checked us in and would send around their “maintenance guy”, took about 15 min to get the but upon arrival his first words were “you’ve done this”. What a nice chap! ||So with no sofa bed and no secondary option we had to pay for an upgrade into a two bedroom apartment. Of course you know, when it’s “your” fault, you pay more. ||At this point we’d lost about 2 1/2 hours before we’ve even unpacked. ||Nice place, terrible owners, who were of course reachable by the staff anytime. But the staff never reachable. ||It quite obvious why payment is taken upon arrival, you won’t be seeing any of it back if there’s any issues.||My advice, go elsewhere for similar and locally owned.
