Not sure why Jade Palace “restaurant” is spelled as “Resteraunt” on the web and Jade Palace didn’t pop up on google when I searched for it.

Anyway, one of our friends was craving for fried rice, so we decided to visit this restaurant despite the low ratings and mixed reviews. While the initial greeting could have been warmer—perhaps a result of the cold weather—I found the restaurant's ambience pleasant and spacious. During lunch, we were very pleased with the fried rice and other dishes that we ordered, which prompted us to return again for dinner that evening. This time, we were welcomed with a smile. We then decided to try their lobster! (expensive). It was prepared in Cantonese style with ginger, spring onions and onions. The flavors were authentic, fresh and scrumptious. The lobster head was simmered together with the Toufu as a comforting soup, which we finished completely. From simple dishes such as fried rice to luxurious lobster delicacies, this restaurant had it all. This restaurant deserves a better rating. Based on the lobster and scallops dishes, I would give it a perfect score for it’s freshness and taste.

P.S. By the way, the washroom was pleasantly...

BEWARE OF THIS RIP-OFF RESTAURANT! We are definitely not going back even if there's no other option. THE PRICE IS TOO HIGH! The serving is too small for the price. And their HOT TEA ISN'T FREE! It comes with a $2 charge per person. We don't even understand why we got charged $8 ($2 each) when we only had a small teapot and we all had to share it among ourselves! I've never been to a Chinese restaurant where I get to pay for the tea, and even if I do, it wouldn't cost that much! That is way too expensive! The waiter should've warned us frst that it's pricey before offering it to us. And what irritated me the most is when we paid the bill, I've noticed they CHARGED US AN EXTRA DOLLAR for a single dish and the owner/staff DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO SAY "SORRY". I knew they did that intentionally, so I went and check the reviews and found out it wasn't the first time they did that. I know it's just a dollar but still, that's one way of stealing regardless of the amount!! I would rate them zero star (if there's an option) but since the "half bird" thing made our day, so I'll...

I recently dined at this Chinese restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The service attitude was poor, with the staff appearing disinterested and inattentive throughout the meal. It's disappointing when the people serving you don't make an effort to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Moreover, the taste of the food was subpar. The flavors lacked depth, and the dishes lacked the authenticity I was hoping for. It's disheartening when you visit a restaurant to enjoy a specific cuisine and end up with mediocre flavors that don't do justice to the culinary tradition. What bothered me the most was the portion sizes. The servings were incredibly small, and the per capita consumption turned out to be unexpectedly high. It's frustrating when you pay a premium price for a meal and leave the restaurant feeling...

I’m sorry but this place is far from a palace. The young man serving was unfriendly, there was no hello how are you. No how was your meal, No charm. Just cold and empty ‘service’ After paying there was no thank you have a great rest of your evening. Just more weird silence. The prices are ridiculous at $28 a dish..regardless of location..the small portions and food quality is not good enough. The place was nearly empty but the 3 dishes ordered came out 1 at a time..with 2-5 minute wait in between. The decor is like a tacky wedding from 1990’s. The combination fried rice tasted good The satay chicken was not good The sweet and sour chicken tasted quite good but the battered pieces were slightly burnt. Luckily covered up with the sweet red sauce. Frying oil might needed to be replaced more regularly.

We came here because it had so many conflicting reviews, that we had to try. Most reviews seemed to say something like food was good, but service was bad. We braced for bad service, but were pleasantly surprised. We came on a Monday night at about 50% capacity, so it wasn’t super busy. We were greeted within 30 seconds of arriving, they sat us down for 30 seconds and then our table was ready. We looked through the menu, and as soon as we put them down, the young gentleman can over to serve us. Prices were slightly high for an Australian, but the portions were generous. Three dishes for two people had plenty left over and we were very full. The food was tasty and exactly what you would expect from a large Chinese restaurant. Overall, really pleasantly surprised. Very happy we went there.
