Dolce Pizza — Local services in South Island

Ordered the salami jalepeno pizza (we couldn’t pronounce the pizza name 🤭) along with the meat lovers pizza tonight and boy did it not disappoint! Been travelling throughout south NZ and this has to be the best pizza takeaway joint thus far. While the toppings aren’t alot (so don’t expect crazy amounts), the best part was in the dough, perfectly wood fired which tasted amazing. The menu was limited but they do decent pizzas for $29 each. Pricey for a pizza but compared to the other restaurants in the area, reasonable.

Took 10 minutes so we did a loop around the area before making it back in time for pick up. Not much dining area around so it’s best you take the pizza elsewhere.

We had an amazing experience at Dolice Pizza! Their firewood 🪵 pizzas 🍕 are absolutely delicious—perfectly baked with a crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and incredible flavors. You can taste the quality and care in every bite! Luckily we got the last two pieces of pizzas of the day. Full of grateful heart.💖

The location is stunning, situated right by the beautiful Tekapo Lake. Enjoying a meal with such a breathtaking view made it an unforgettable experience.

Top Notch! We stayed in Lake Tekapo and as we drove round we noticed this cute pizza truck. We knew we would have to come back for dinner. The staff, whom I assume were the owners, were friendly and had good banter. I had a tough time deciding between Margherita or Kiwi Classic, and the owner quickly decided for me with the Kiwi Classic. Chicken, brie, and cranberry, def a diff take but paired so good together. The pizza was so good. The flavours worked so well together. Wood fired pizza. The crust was chewy and delicious. The price point was just on par with the food in the area. Do not miss out...
