Dark Sky Villas — Local services in South Island

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful accommodation, and I can’t recommend it enough!

We stayed at Villa A which is nearer to the carpark. The house was impeccably clean, which always makes a stay more enjoyable. The beds were incredibly comfortable and equipped with electric blankets, ensuring a cozy night’s sleep on cold nights.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view of the mountains and lake from the living room and the balcony. It truly felt like a slice of paradise and made for some unforgettable mornings and evenings.

The accommodation is also very close to the town and it takes around 5 mins in walking.

Additionally, Natasha was an absolute gem! She was very friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience even more special.

Just spent three nights at Dark Sky Villas with three other friends for a girls' weekend away. The villas were spotless, and so comfortable - we spent many hours catching up over local wines and cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Waking up to sunrise emerging from behind the snow-capped mountain peaks and lake views from the comfort of the lounge was like a dream. Town is just a short 5 minute walk away, and gorgeous host Natasha had lots of great suggestions for places to eat. I've heard people come to Lake Tekapo in Spring for the lupin flowers, but a clear weekend in Autumn with the brilliant foliage can't be beat - especially when you have somewhere as cosy, spacious and luxurious as this...

Amazing villas positioned to look over the mountains with uninterrupted views. Each one has 2 bedrooms, lounge and dining areas, with a fantastic expandable dining table - perfect for our group of friends who booked out both villas for our girls weekend. The kitchen is spotless, and I really enjoyed cooking whilst looking onto the gorgeous wooden deck and snow capped peeks. I wok up to watch the sunrise every day. Spotless cleanliness, wonderful bed linens and contemporary fit out. Just a short walk to town and Natalie is the best host EVER....
