one o one cabins Ltd — Hotel in Waiheke

On our recent 5-night stay, we loved the location, a stroll to the village and the bus stop. We enjoyed the peaceful aspect of cabin 4. In addition, the decor is calming and relaxing.

Merilee and Ludmilla were very proactive, friendly, and responsive hosts, which we appreciated. For example, when we requested an additional tea towel and kitchen wipes, they were delivered promptly.

The cabins better suit a short stay of 2-3 days, as the kitchen is a bit tight for preparing much of a meal (the induction cooktop was great, though). Even making a pasta and sugo meal was challenging with tiny pots and pans.

Also, there is not much space to unpack our bags. We had more than an overnight or weekend bag since we were on a 3-week trip (5 nights at the One O One). The small wardrobe was crowded, with no drawers or shelves, though there were enough hangers.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again. It's not possible to give a 4.5, but it...

We were so pleased with our choice of these cabins. We took the bus from the ferry and the cabins are the first stop at The Car Parks. They are close enough to the ferry to be able to walk but if you have luggage, you can just tell the bus driver 101 Ocean View at the cabins and they know where to drop you off. We did walk to the ferry from the cabins when we were leaving and it’s an easy downhill walk of about 10 minutes. The location is perfect as it’s only a five minute walk into Oneroa where there’s shops, cafes, restaurants and the bus stop. We stayed in Cabin 2 and it was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed, including an iron and ironing board. There’s a lovely deck with two hammocks which were great for relaxing after sight seeing. Everything was modern and clean and the decor is lovely. Excellent location with walkable distance to main street. Impeccably clean, with a wonderful array of amenities; the hammocks are unbelievably comfortable, TV comes with youtube, netflix and other smart TV services, bathroom is very tidy and the shampoo and conditioner is very nice!— left my hair the nicest its ever been. Owners are also very lovely, and make sure that all information is easily accessible. Just a note that the cabins are accessed by a series of stairs, or an uphill incline….I personally didn't inquire about accessibility needs but I recommend taking that into consideration if you have requirements that pertain to such.
