Island Frenchie — Restaurant in Waiheke

My husband and I came here three times in two days and tried to order as many things as we could because everything was amazing - the food was unbelievable and much cheaper than a lot of other places, the coffee was the best we've have in a long while, and the owner was the loveliest Frenchman! We wish we could have stayed longer to try more dishes but it will have to wait until next time. What a gem of a spot, start here so you don't need to go anywhere else.

Outstanding service from an incredibly kind French man. Food came out instantaneously, right off the grill at a premium quality. Our group of 10 got a variety of bacon and egg ciabattas, steak and caramelised onion ciabatta and pulled pork burgers. At an incredible price, the bacon and egg ciabatta was out standing and provided exquisite flavours for the mouth to experience. The steak was perfectly cooked and the pork was juice and tender, scrumptious even. Enjoyed in the sun with some orange juice and honest cola, The Island Frenchie has provided a great munch for a bunch of hungry lads....

Lovely people , I really enjoyed my fish taco , thank you ! They have too some pastries, we did try the canell which was delicious 🤤 Update : we kept visiting the place all days during our holidays since the food was the best that we try on the island, loved the beef salad , and the loaded nachos with pork belly was sooooooooo gooooodddd, we try too the almond croissants , and my partner loved his bacon roll.
