Stone Cabins Boquete — Hotel in Bajo Boquete

My husband and I reacently moved to the Pacific Coast of Panama. Pedasi. We decided to branch out and visit more of this beautiful country. We needed accommodations that were comfortable, quiet, and not very expensive. We booked Stone Cabins through Hotels.com. We were very pleased when upon arrival, they let us pick which room we wanted. We picked the wrong one. It was on the bottom in the back, next to an open patio. Very nice two bedroom cabin-like rooms with kitchen, including dishes and refrigerator,and a spacious fornt room area. We were going on a tour at 3:30 in the morning and decided to go to bed early. When we first flushed the toilet, it throubbed and pounded with a loud pulsing noise for at least 30 or 40 seconds. That was bad, but we were not going to accept it, then the patio outside the bedroom window began to fill up with men. I could not sleep there looking at them. So we told the wonderful attendants we could not stand the toilet and they immediately had us change rooms. Good thing. Soon after we went to bed a band started to play somewhere within hearing distance. They played until 11pm. It was Friday night. So Saturday night was peaceful and quiet, and no one met on the patio. Very different nights. Very comfortable beds. Very nice listening to the river that runs by the window, very nice to be so close to the main part of town, but not right in it, very peaceful, minus the band, very good resturant on primsis. We missed our free breakfasts due to early excursions, so no comment there, but the resturant is very good.We loved Boquete. It is only about 5 hours from our home in Pedasi. When we go back to Boquete, which we plan to do often, we plan on staying at Stone...

We really enjoyed these cabins, it made us feel as if we were actually living in Boquete. The rooms are all apartment style cabins, the majority come with two rooms, a living room, and a kitchen although we hardly used the kitchen since there are so many wonderful options to dine out in Boquete. We enjoyed the terrace in the back, and it was nice to sit back and relax and enjoy a couple of drinks. There is no AC, but the town is relatively chilly at night, so its best to open the windows and enjoy the cool air. There were some reviews about complaints of the noise from the main road, but we had no issues and slept right through. Maybe in the morning you'll hear some loud birds gossiping nearby, but that's pretty much it. It's also close to everything in town, so you can walk instead of take the car. I would definitley...
