Panda Restaurant — Restaurant in Bajo Boquete

I didn't try the bathroom, but it appeared clean. We ordered the vegetable choy mein and sweet and sour chicken. The food was hot and served in good time. The portions were good with the chicken being a little less so than what I've had at other places. I wasn't fond of the style of sweet and sour, but that is preference. The food is standard Cantonese fare, which is delicious, but I was hoping for more authentic Chinese food. The portions are massive, so you won't leave hungry. I've eaten there twice now, and each time had a different server; however, both ladies were excellent. Probably the best thing about Panda, is they seem to be the only restaurant in Boquete that serves vegetable dishes. I was craving green veggies and Panda has it. Ordered two vegetarian meals… which both contained meat. The waitress apologised and they were replaced with more vegetarian dishes, which halfway through eating we discovered contained tiny pieces of meat... The chef had obviously picked out all the large pieces of meat and sent the dishes back out to us. Good luck if you like meat, but until this evening I’ve not eaten it for ten years.
