Hostal Yoha — Hotel in Bella Vista

AVOID THIS PLACE! This was probably one of the worst places I stayed in, mostly because of the way I was treated by the staff. The man in charge is absolutely rude and a liar. I had to leave the hostel on my second night around 8.30 pm because of a power cut that had started at 11 am and made it impossible to sleep inside the room, since it doesn't have any sort of window or ventilation and it gets extremely hot in Panama. The power cut is obviously not the hostel's fault, but the way I was treated definitely is: they lied about the solution, didn't provide any alternative possibilities or way to reduce the discomfort and offered first to cancel the reservation but then took the offer back. All in all, their behavior was "it's not my problem". I had to pay for the night in another place and they refused to do any sort of reimbursement. I arrived in the evening, hoping to crash and sleep, but woke up to a nightmare: cockroaches swarming the room and bathroom.

I was forced to immediately interrupt my precious vacation time to find new accommodation and escalate the issue with Airbnb. To make matters worse, the host was completely unhelpful, rude, and dismissive, showing zero concern for the unsanitary conditions. Mi experiencia se basa en 30 días de hospedaje, por lo que tengo bastante criterio para opinar. En cuanto al servicio me pareció excelentísimo, todo el personal super atento, muy profesionales y trabajadores, observe que siempre le daban prioridad a las inquietudes de los clientes. Con respecto a las instalaciones considero que están en muy buenas condiciones, y el mantenimiento es constante. Tanto el área común, la cocina, la piscina, las habitaciones, todo me pareció muy cómodo y reconfortante. Están en constantes modificaciones y reparaciones, trabajando todos los días para mejorar la experiencia del cliente, por ejemplo, durante el tiempo que estuve, vi que cambiaron colchones de varias habitaciones, pusieron nuevas mesas y sillas en el área del comedor, televisores nuevos, y muchas otras cosas. Creo que si me pongo a contar todas las cosas buenas del hostal no terminaría nunca, me pareció excelentísimo, me sentí en familia.
