From the moment we arrived at Hotel Plaza Herrera, we knew this was more than just a stay — it was an experience. The building itself is a beautifully restored piece of Casco Viejo’s history, blending timeless architecture with modern luxury. Every corner feels curated with care and elegance.||Our suite was spacious, filled with natural light, and opened to a stunning view of the plaza. Nestled in the Historic District of Casco Viejo, Panama, Hotel Herrera is a hidden gem. Although this hotel has not opened to the public yet, my husband and I have had the privilege to stay at Hotel Herrera. The atmosphere is mesmerizing. Every detail in this hotel from the water feature that is an interpretation replica of the Panama Canal to the details on the door hinges is perfection. The owner has poured his heart and soul into this place. Every concept of the design has been thought out with great intention, and it truly shows. The staff makes you feel so welcomed and are so hospitable and friendly. The food is next level! I'm a foodie myself and let me tell you, the science that goes into the food they prepare is next level. You can truly taste the love that goes into the preparation of each dish. From breakfast to dinner, I have yet to have something I don't like. Everything is fresh and made in house, no expense spared.
