The food was good (chicken wings with honey rum is highly recommended, 8 pcs at $7!). The drinks were very good. The ambience is so relaxing and inviting. They also have dominos for you to play (which we did). The bartenders were nice and polite. Their happy hours are from opening till 7pm, everyday. Cocktails at $5 with 5 choices and all are good. Beer draft at $3.5/glass. We are in Panama only for a few weeks but came here 3 times already. One reason why I didn't give 5 stars because while the first day we came, the less beautiful waitress is super attentive, friendly, polite and didn't even ask for tips in the end but we were happy to give her a generous tip. The 2nd and 3rd time we came back, another beautiful waitress was completely opposite: disappeared most of the time, other time she was standing outside, gave off an unease aura while serving. We think she didn't desert tips so we didn't and she insisted if we want to tip her. The last time we came, she kind of ignored us the whole time, very bad attitude. So although we like this bar a lot, we don't think we will ever come back if we saw her...
Read moreA cozy little, rum-focused bar that has some great cocktails during their Happy Hour. The rum for which this joint is named for is fantastic. I personally prefer their Original Spiced, because it reminds me of a heady Big Red rum, but you can try all three (Spiced, Silver, and Mixed) to see which you want to go for. As for the food, I would get rhere during happy hour as well, for they are a bit pricey. I highly suggest the bacon-wrapped shrimp (make sure you've got some napkins!). One of the downfalls of the popularity of this place and its small interior is, as the night goes on, it gets crowded very easily. If you are not seated at the bar, the small wait staff can often take a while to get back to your table. I'd suggest this place for a quick after dinner drink or else the beginning of...
