Hostal Espinoza — Hotel in Arequipa

I stayed in Hostal Espinoza for almost two weeks at the end of October / beginning of November 2019. The rooms are simple, but tall and with plenty of space. You wake up with the daylight as it is a historic building with round windows in the roof. This gives the hostel a special atmosphere. The facilities are clean. The Wifi is good. You can`t leave the hostel without passing the common space, which gives you plenty of options to interact either with other travelers or the owner Karen, her daugther, her sister or her brother.||Karen is a very funny, friendly and helpful person. If you need something, she always tries her best to help you. Originally I intended to stay for 6 days only, but I felt really comfortable in the hostel and with Arequipa being a nice city I ended up spending 13 nights in La Espinoza. I can definitely recommend...

I stayed 3 nights at this hostel and i really enjoyed it. |De room was very big and clean. It's in a kind of colonial building. Al rooms, toilets and shower are around the "plaza" of the hostel. Very nice place where you can always find someone of the family. Feels like home. |My spanish is not good, but with google translate and a lot of laugh, the owner helps me with everything. L'hostal es troba a dues illes de la plaça Major d'Arequipa, es pot caminar a tot arreu i hi ha supermercats, restaurants i bars de tot tipus a menys de tres minuts de l'allotjament. L'espai està molt ben equipat, amb una cuina d'ús compartit, lavabos i dutxes d'aigua calenta i una zona comuna a l'aire lliure, perfecta pel clima de la zona i molt agradable. Les habitacions són molt grans i estan construïdes amb carreus blancs, seguint la construcció típica de la zona, ja que es tracta d'una casona històrica. A més, aquest tipus de construcció converteix les cambres en espais amb una temperatura ideal en qualsevol moment de l'any d'una manera completament ecològica, perfecte pel clima amb nits fredes i dies càlids. Tot i això, el millor que té aquest hostal és el seu personal: unes dones molt atentes, amables i encantadores que et faran sentir com a casa.
