Very nice small and quiet cafe in Arequipa. The coffee and was very nice and the caprese sandwich was delicious. It unfortunately loses a star because of the design of the mugs used to serve hot coffee, it looks lovely but is completely impractical as it does not have a handle. Therefore you have to wait for you coffee to become colder before you can even touch the mug, let alone drink it. This gives you two options, drink not very warm coffee or wrap a napkin around the mug and try not to burn yourself! It would be far better if they served hot drinks in mugs...

I had an amazing experience at this cozy coffee shop! The staff were absolutely lovely, welcoming me with warm smiles and excellent service from start to finish. The highlight, though, was the pain au chocolat—it was hands down one of the best I’ve had in Peru. Perfectly flaky and filled with rich, smooth chocolate. They also surprised me with a delicious slice of panettone, which was a delightful treat. It was light and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness. I’ll definitely be coming...
