this hotel was wonderful and accommodating and clean. we arrived by overnight by bus and were very tired in the morning but the staff brought us breakfast (helped me discover how much I enjoy Altomayo instant coffee - yum!), which enjoyed from our balcony and watched the sunrise. Our only regret was not booking enough time here and in Arequipa - seriously considering returning just to explore the city more and absolutely would stay here again. I had to work the day we were here and the wifi was strong enough for my work most of the time.||||Very safe location and they stopped my partner when she entered and didn’t notify them who she was, which we understood and appreciated. Read moreWe stayed one night a few doors down then did a search for something better when in Arequipa. What a great surprise finding this place. Lovely old building set back within a courtyard. We stayed on the ground floor with huge domed ceiling. If you are off season just turn up and ask for the price. We got an amazing price for the room (which would normally have been out of budget). The staff went above and beyond. They helped with onward transport not pushing your agency options but giving honest advice that allowed us to do a better route to colca canyon (for us) and where very kind letting us use the kitchen to prepare baby bottles. Read moreThis hostel is just a few blocks from Plaza de Armas. We found this place after staying at another place a little further from the center of town and a little too basic for our tastes. We were just walking the streets and checked it out. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night so we didn't sample their breakfast because we left for the Colca Canyon before 3:30 a.m..
