Pachamama Hostel — Hotel in Distrito de Cusco

The rooms are really good and clean. Sadly we experience a bad situation with the Staff. A woman from the Staff came to us in a really unrespecful way to basically tell us to shut up. We were talking really low in the terrace and there were no signs that talking on the terrace is forbidden or being there in generally. It only says "be quiet after 10pm" normal rule in every hostel I would say. Anyways there are ways to behave and ways to communicate some things. We tried to talk with her next day and she just left the terrace in the middle of the talk. In my years of travelling I never experienced this situation. First time that I felt really uncomfortable and that I wanted to leave as soon as possible. It's a pity that souch a nice place has this type of people...

Simple and cheap location, don't expect a high comfort hotel. But anyway little spaces, like the full equipped kitchen and the common areas, are well organised beteween guests, even when full. Hosts are very friendly and disposable.

I stayed here several times during my month in Valle Sagrada and I felt every time like coming back to the family.

The door has to be opened every time by a host, it makes therefore hosts loose a lot of time waiting to enter...
