Mister Llama is a welcome break from our rich meals in Peru. The calzone appetizer with two dipping sauces (the spicy one was the family favorite) was crisp, light, and flavorful. We had two pizzas - the Mister Llama special and a vegetarian one. There was hardly a crumb left! The family inhaled the special loaded with fresh ingredients and a crisp crust like what you'd find in Rome (thin, crisp). The vegetarian had many fresh produce, including spinach, tomatoes, etc. We also enjoyed the house lemonade (highly recommended - citrusy, fresh, not sour nor too sweet) and a local beer. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the owners are also highly-qualified local guides. The pizza chef is self-taught and just a lovely person.

Sauces on the side are a creamy garlic sauce and a hot pepper sauce, both made in house--...
