Montañero Hostel II — Hotel in Huaraz

We had an amazing stay!! The owners were so nice and did everything so we would have the best stay. The breakfast was very extensive, other than bread and the standard stuff we even got bread. They will even give you breakfast a little earlier so you can eat before a tour or a hike. It‘s really close to center so any restaurants and supermarkets you can reach in like 5 minutes walking. If you‘re going there, it‘s the yellow building with all the flags in the small road off the main street (there is no sign or name of the hostel on the building). Lovely family running the hostel with everything you need. Kitchen, balcony with amazing views, laundry and they organise tours for the cheapest price we found in Huaraz. Extended our stay 3 times. They let us check in early and leave later for our buses at no extra cost. It’s the building with the small flags on the first floor as it has no signs on the front. The host is super responsive via WhatsApp and solved all our problems.

We extended our stay from 2 days to 7 days here. It is the perfect accommodation. The host family are so kind, helpful and cheery. We booked all our tours through them and every time we spoke to people on the tour we had paid the lowest price. The room is perfect for backpackers- room and bathroom with shower and toilet.
