Hostal Killari — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

Staff was helpful and location is ideal. We ended up staying two weeks as we found it easy enough to visit all the places we wanted to go in Miraflores and Barranco. Breakfast was good and appreciated that the rooms were cleaned every day and we got fresh towels.||||Not the cheapest place, but competitive for the location we were in. Right around the hotel there's not much, but you can reach Larcomar and the Puente de los Suspiros if you're okay walking a bit. Not much ambiance, but it is a hotel so we weren't expecting too much...

This place was great for our stay. It definitely was noisy as my room was next to the lobby, kitchen, and dining area, but I would still recommend. It was very clean, decent beds, large bathroom, and incredibly friendly staff. They do not speak a lot of English but try their hardest to accommodate you in any way they can. They also had a very reasonably priced airport shuttle ($18 USD). Close enough to walk most places or g you are feeling lazy (as I was) it's only about 6-8 sol to taxi...

Das Hostal Killari liegt im südlichen Bereich des Stadtteils Lima-Miraflores an einer sechsspurigen Ausfallstraße. Den malerischen Stadtteil Barranco sowie das Einkaufszentrum Larcomar kann man in 15 bis 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. ||||Seit Mai 2010 gibt es in Lima eine gut funktionierende Buslinie "Metropolitano" vom Zentrum über Miraflores in Richtung Barranco. Die Busse sind sehr preiswert (1,50 PEN pro Fahrt), bequem und sicher. Vom Hostal Killari ist die Haltestelle des Metropolitano-Bus in fünf bis acht Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, so dass auch Ausflüge ins Zentrum Limas tagsüber problemlos möglich sind.||||Unser Zimmer war zweckmäßig und modern eingerichtet, sauber und ausreichend groß. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel war freundlich und angenehm. Das Personal war freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Insbesondere die guten Restauranttipps waren für uns sehr hilfreich.||||Das Frühstück wird im Vor"garten" eingenommen. Einen Frühstücksraum gibt es nicht. Die Frühstücksleistung war o.k., auch wenn das aus Toast, Butter, Konfitüre und Rührei bestehende Frühstück auf Dauer eintönig wird.||||In der Lobby steht Gästen ein Internet-PC kostenfrei zur Verfügung.||||Der vom Hotel organisierte Taxi-Transfer vom / zum Flughafen hat ausgezeichnet geklappt.
