The food here was really great, and that’s definitely the highlight of the experience. Everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared, especially the appetizers, which were delicious and set a great tone for the meal. I ordered the goat dish, and it was excellent — tender and full of flavor. It came with a large bowl of rice and another bowl of beans, which made for a very hearty and satisfying meal.

That said, there were a few things that could be improved. The ambiance felt a little stiff and formal, which made the experience feel slightly less relaxed than we were expecting. The menu rotates regularly, which can be a good thing, but the website does not always match what’s offered in person. It would be helpful if they kept the online menu updated so guests can plan ahead.

Our server was friendly but seemed to be steering us toward certain dishes a bit strongly, which felt slightly forced. While we were there, another table had an issue with their bill where they were charged extra for something they didn’t order. This made us double-check our receipt carefully — and I’d recommend that other diners do the same.

It would be nice if the restaurant kept some of the traditional items consistently on the menu instead of removing them, as those classics are often what people come for. Overall, great food but some small service and communication issues that could...

This restaurant is a difficult one to rate for a couple of reasons. first off, the restaurant was not full and they still gave us probably the worst seat in the restaurant. This is obviously not ideal but if everything else is great who cares ...right. Then the waiter came to provide us with recommendations which I really appreciated and we did go with a couple of his suggestions the hot ceviche and a beef dish. We also had the soup - cream of asparagus and a side of eggplant. What was awkward was that we had him waiting at our table to make a choice which made us a little pressure to pick right away(not a fan of that) . The atmosphere was also very nonexistent and the waiters looking like if they turned the wrong way would get fired didn't help the experience. That being said, the hot ceviche that was served was to die for! It was just that good. The beef was tasty and cooked perfectly. The soup fell short. Overall, if I could rate it 4.5 I would but the service and the atmosphere was really lacking character in my opinion. I find it's in the small details that separates a top...

A little tricky to find the entrance ... Again, as a solo traveller and diner, I experienced a certain disappointment at Fiesta. Although not busy when I went, I was only offered at seat at the bar. Would have been okay, except the service was pretty indifferent. Started with a little house made salchicha which was both cute and tasty. The ceviche, which is supposedly a specialty, was only so so. And the ‘crispy’ fried accompaniments were soggy for sitting in the leche de tigre (of course!!) The arroz con pato a la chiclayana was good, though a bit bland. Huge portion even though I had a half order. Really liked the refreshing salad. But the service - what service!? Twenty minutes after my main arrived, I was still waiting for the one glass of wine I ordered. Sigh. Better experiences and food to be had at the mom and pop places...

¿Restaurante de lujo o chinguirito? 1. Carta hecha de cartón prensado con manchas. 2. ¿No quieren invertir nada? 6. Baño con mayólicas y sanitarios comunes. 7. No hay letrero externo. 8.
