I am at the hotel now so i figured I'd write a review. Let me start with the fact that the hotel is very clean and in a nice location which is very convenient. It is a very old hotel but it has it's charm because of that. The customer service here is mediocre as it seems that the people working here do NOT wanna be here and it shows but at lease in my experience in Lima the people here are not pleasant so these guys fit in the enviroment. The rooms are clean but thats about it. There is no good view at this hotel. The bed is the hardest bed I've ever slept in. A park bench is more comfortable that their beds. I kept waking up more tired than when i went to sleep. The wifi here is non existant so unless you have a sim card from here good luck getting service. Bottom line is there are plenty of Hotels in the area that i am sure are a lot more comfortable so do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The only reason i gave it 2 stars is due to cleanliness otherwise i would have...
Read moreRoom was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was great and it had ample hot water. Staff is very friendly.
Breakfast was simple and decent.
Location wise, very central and convenient.
Issues with noise, there’s a club close by. The music started around 10PM and persists through the night. Not only can you hear the bass, but practically feel them through the walls. We stayed in an interior room on the 3rd floor and found it hard to sleep.
Also booked an airport shuttle with the concierge. We asked twice if we could pay with card as we didn’t have enough cash left. We were told yes both times. Come 3AM and we need to get to the airport, of course the driver doesn’t take cash. He ended up agreeing to a slightly lesser fee but not something we wanted to deal with early in...
Read moreIf you want to be near the central area of Miraflores, this is a great location. Our room, two twin beds, clean, adequate bathroom, shower, soap, towels, adequate lighting, didn't use the wi-fi, oh my gosh! a real key, Not much security at front desk; okay staff. Elevator works. Decor reminds of old motel.||Welcome afternoon drink, very nice inca cola. Breakfast just fine al fresco with a slight view of the neighborhood. Request a room in the back, NOT on La Paz Street. The night that we were there, street paving at 2am and noisy discos. Location of hotel is walking distance to Wong Supermarket, lots of shopping on Larco Street, the huge park with wild cats, the Britanic Museum and Theater and plenty of local...
