Bazar — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

this place is absolute chaos..in the best way. 4/5 stars because there’s no consistent theme in music or atmosphere but that’s okay. wish they played reggaeton a lot earlier, no one really dancing til midnight.

the theme inside has corona bottles on the walls? yet greenery outside by the tables. the bartenders were funny and kind, generous alcohol in my drinks all night. we heard a lot of Colombian pop/vallenato mix around 10pm, then reggaeton/Spanish pop started shortly after 12am. I guess you need a reservation? if you dress nice and the bouncer likes you, you’ll get lucky and get right in.

people were nice, it does get RIDICULOUSLY CROWDED after 11pm so that’s a heads up if you want a table/sitting area.

People of all ages come here, you’ll find older creeps and people as young as 18. The variety in attire also exists here but mostly here are people looking business casual to full club outfits. The door staff were incredibly rude. I've traveled the world and have never experienced such appalling door staff. They refused us based on nothing. We were polite, not drunk and they simply refused to talk to us. They said the spoke no English when they were speaking to us in English they just refused to even look at us. Llegó una barrendera que me propinó un golpe en el tobillo con la escoba. Yo volteo le pregunto ¿Que pasa señora?. Con una carcajada me responde estoy haciendo mi trabajo, yo sin ánimos de ir a más le pido que se retire y me empieza a gritar, consecutivamente agita la escoba, yo sujeto la escoba y le digo señora váyase no haga problemas, ella aprovecha me sujeta los brazos y yo forcejeo para liberarme, el vigilante de seguridad se acerca desafiante hacia mi diciendo: ¡Que pasa!; Pero voltea hacia la barrendera y ésta le explica su versión de los hechos, yo evite más problemas y me retiré no estoy acostumbrada a delincuentes aunque tuve la oportunidad de denunciarla. Y mi opinión es especialmente para las chicas, fíjense bien a que lugares van así vayan en grupo, yo no estaba sola y miren lo que pasó, pueden decir muy bonito el local, etc. Pero que miren el trato que le dieron a la otra señorita con eso de que el vigilante de seguridad bruscamente le jaló el celular, ¿Con que derecho?
