Unfortunately, my experience at your restaurant was disappointing due to poor service. While the food was reasonably good, the service fell far short of expectations. The male server was unfriendly from the beginning, setting a negative tone for the meal.

The most unacceptable part came when I asked for my change. The amount was over my intended tip, so I requested the difference. Instead of handling this professionally, the server returned my change in an excessive and disrespectful manner—approximately 20 coins, including several ten-cent sol coins. This felt intentionally offensive, as though my request for change was unwelcome or bothersome.

While I understand there may be language barriers or cultural differences, this behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. A restaurant should value its customers and train its staff to treat everyone with respect, regardless of circumstances. In the menu, Cerdo al Ajo costs 40 soles and Lemonade costs 9. After we finished our dinner, the waiter handed us the bill, where the prices for the two items went up to 45 and 12, respectively. Since those prices do not match with our memories, we asked to see the menu again. They were quite prepared for this and brought two menus, saying that the price on another menu—one that nobody ever gave us—should apply. After we firmly protested, they finally agreed to charge us only the amount shown on the menu that we were initially given. After we finished the payment, the waiter abruptly grabbed the bill back and stared at us rudely as if it was us causing them trouble, rather than the other way.

Based on their reactions during the entire event, it appeared more likely that this was an intentional scam overcharging unwary customers. But even if this was caused by negligence, it would still be an extremely unprofessional mistake to make the prices in the menu and in the bill differ. If you decide to eat there, be sure to remember the prices shown to you when you order, and make sure your bill shows the same.

Luego de que terminamos nuestra cena, el mesero nos entregó la cuenta, donde los precios de los dos artículos subieron a 45 y 12, respectivamente. Como esos precios no coinciden con nuestros recuerdos, pedimos ver el menú nuevamente. Estaban bastante preparados para esto y trajeron dos menús, diciendo que debería aplicarse el precio de otro menú, uno que nunca nadie nos dio. Después de que protestamos firmemente, finalmente aceptaron cobrarnos solo la cantidad que se muestra en el menú que nos dieron inicialmente. Después de que terminamos el pago, el mesero abruptamente tomó la cuenta y nos miró con rudeza como si fuéramos nosotros los que les causamos problemas, y no al revés.

Según sus reacciones durante todo el evento, parecía más probable que se tratara de una estafa intencional que cobraba de más a los clientes desprevenidos. Ok food. .horrendous service! No one greeted us at the host/hostess stand. A waiter came over, cleaned up a table and sat us down. In the meantime , he sat a second table after us and was taking their food order before he asked us for our drink orders. The service was slow..food was ill-timed as brought soup with entrees.
