So my husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights in Lima, when you walk inside it looks nice and inviting. There is a doorman that assists with bags and the location is perfect. The room however was not the best. The closet smelled like a Catholic Church, the bathroom has a toilet paper dispenser that rations out the toilet paper that equals to one pull counts as one square of toilet paper. The shower was perfect the first night, it was hot and just what we needed. The following two nights the water was best described as luke warm if not less than, we notified the front desk of the issue, they sent someone up and they looked at the shower, turned it on and off and left without a solution. We called again to the front desk for this issue again due to it not being resolved and another attendant came, she was very rude, looked at her phone the entire time even when I opened the door, there was no greeting or inquiry of the issue at hand, she was heard mumbling under her breath and sounded very annoyed with having to come to look at the complaint of no hot water. She stayed about 5 minutes and the water did get hot and as soon as she left the water turned Luke warm again. For two nights we had this issue, with no resolution, stay here if you like cold/Luke warm showers and no one to do...

I reserved a miniaterial suite to go and relax for a night for my birthday and they instead gave me an upgrade for the Presidencial suite and it was gorgeous very luxurious and Enrique the concierge very attentive, I also reserved a day in a spa after I check out. But I have a few observations: 1. In the Presidencial suite ornaments are broken, 2. I would've love to have a coat rack, 3. more cleanliness on the rooms, 4. there's some inaccesible rooms on maintenance still, 5. the motor of the elevator that is just on top of the suite has this awful sound when it comes up and down. But overall its a very nice hotel very retro style from more than 20 years of existence. Spa....not that great, though they have this beautiful jacuzzi area and the place itself is nice an quite, still they play the same tune over and over again got me quite dizzy, massage girl not good as she didn't really care about doing a good job I expected more and payed for 1 hour massages and she just did 45 min. The shower handle of the main bathroom attached to the wall is broken and at the end when you get to the privy they forget about you. I would've love a little bit more of attention. Maybe I'm too spoiled. More than I had a good time those 2 day. I recommend the hotel, better keep...

Okay, so the Miramar is a little worn, a tad ragged about the edges, fixtures and carpeting linens and towels are a tad long in the tooth.||But...||It is clean. Everything works, most importantlythe shower and the aircon. It's in a great location, with a bunch of restaurants and supermarkets and money changers close by, and Av. Jose Pardo is half a block away, giving you a wonderful walk to the Ovala de Miraflores, where can carry on in equal comfort in a bunch of different directions. The neighbourhood is clean, safe and vibrant. It's inexpensive, even with a nice included breakfast.||And all that good aside, the best thing about Hotel Miarmar is its staff. The front desk clerks, bellhops/concierge and housekeepers are excellent. Helpful, patient and professional in appearance and demeanor...nothing but good to say about these folks. ||But, the true shining star of this property is our breakfast Server, Josephine. Josie was effusive, so cheerful and friendly and outgoing, genuinely sweet and kind. She went out of her way to help us get sorted at breakfast and then again later in the morning, going way above her job description to help us. We'd come back and stay here just due her...

Hotel Miramar is strategically located in beautiful safe and walkable MIraflores, on a quiet street, and 2 minutes walk from busy Av. Jose Pardo where one catch the $6 Airport Express bus; it is 10-15 minutes walk to Bus C stop that takes you to the historic city center, and likewise to the ocean front and Parque del Amor. Nearby are plenty of restaurants of variety of cousins, and convenience stores. The hotel is well kept despite its age, spacious room, large bed, wide windows and new Lenin. The hotel staff could not be any nicer: I can not thank enough the front desk staff, the housekeeping and the restaurant staff, for all the help and accomadtion. Special thanks to the front desk staff, to Miss Marilu who tried her best to help me fulfill my wish and help me arrange a day trip to Nazca lines, and also allow me to check in before 2:00 PM; lso thanks to Paskuale for all his help, and for his assistance to silence the annoying voice on my android phone that I had to endure each time I typed a letter. I greatly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Miramar, and if I were to visit again, this would my place to stay. Hani (U.S.A)

I booked this hotel for the location in Miraflores. I was vacationing to Lima Peru for the first time. The hotel is very close to the beautiful Chinese park by the water. Walkable distance to larcomar too. The staff were friendly and helpful although with a little bit of English, I also did try my best to speak spanish. The have bell boy to bring your luggages to the room. The room was spacious and it was carpeted. During our stay in that hotel, there was a construction on the road right by the hotel so it was abit noisy since we opened the window for the fresh air. They provided small bottles of shampoo and bar soaps but the shampoos were too small for use and I bought my own from the market. In terms of cleanliness, it was decent hotel. The bathroom was okay. Good running water and draining properly. The breakfast was 7-10am and it was fabulous, so many varieties of desserts and food was great. They also provided a few hangers in the closet and the closet was so spacious. Personally, this hotel wins for the spacious space of the room and the bfast.
