Ohashi Maki Miraflores — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Came here for the all you can eat with my wife and my 2 year old toddler. They took a long time to get the rolls out when it wasn’t even busy, there was only 1 other table besides us. It got to a point where my toddler was starting to get tired and throw a fit, we couldn’t stay and finish because she would have started to throw a tantrum. We decided to leave before she disturbed the other customers at that point. They decided to charge us a penalty for what we had left, most places charge 1 sol per roll, but they decided to charge us regular menu price for what was left over.

The lomo roll was not good, beef is really rough. The fish maki’s were not fresh l, had a strong seafood smell covered by sauce. Would not recommend even if you don’t have a small...

The food was ok. I got the all-you-can-eat (a good bargain if you're hungry) and my first roll was the lomo saltado. It had clearly been made before I ordered it as it was already cold and was "made" in about 2 minutes. After that, it took maybe 20-30 minutes on average per roll ordered. My advice is try not to go when it's busy because there were only 2 people making rolls (whereas a place like Edo, one block away, has like 15 chefs and the service is quick). I would only come here if you're on a budget and have plenty of time to wait, and particularly for the all-you-can-eat (if you can eat 4 rolls of 10 or more). I was excited to try the sushi in Peru but I was very disappointed. All of the rolls are covered in an excessive amount of white sauce. Inside, there is a very small amount of fish. I had the miso soup, which had no flavor. The service was horrible. I ordered three times and left hungry. I didn’t want to wait any longer as I was getting frustrated and impatient.
