I stayed at Pier 242 Miraflores for two nights and it simply wasn't enough! We arrived to the B&B after a 6 day trek in Cusco, and the spacious, open room with a massive kingsize bed couldn't have come sooner. ||||I was so impressed by all of the little details at this B&B, like the folded towels tied with ribbon and soap on our bed, to the dish filled with local candy and a mini fridge stocked with water and a few cervezas (these were available for purchase). Our room also had a balcony, a very powerful fan that acted more like an air conditioner, and plenty of space to sprawl out, hang clothes etc. Overall it was one of the most comfortable room we stayed in out of our entire trip in Peru.||||What also stood out to me about our stay here, was the hospitality we received from our, Jhesu. He is such a cool guy and you can tell how much he cares about his guests having not just a nice stay at his B&B, but a nice time in Lima. ||||He offers pisco sour making classes for his guests and also has a bike you can rent out for a inexpensive price. He was also up both mornings of our stay making fresh juice to go with the fabulous breakfast spread he puts out for his guests. The breakfast includes fresh fruit, local bread, eggs made to your liking and of course, freshly made fruit juice. It was such a great way to start the day!||||The property is in a great location, just a 10 min walk to Parque Kennedy, an even shorter walk to the beach, and is also right near a bus stop that will take you to Barranco.||||This B&B is so quaint and is decorated with colorful, traditional Peruvian artwork but in a very modern way. It's immediately comfortable from the second you walk in...I absolutely loved...
Read moreI enjoyed staying at this B&B, the location is wonderful, very close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and kennedy park. I felt safe residing in here. It is in the heart of Miraflores. ||||I only ate breakfast once, and it was a great option of food. ||||The other guests where very quiet and nice. There was a young family here which was lovely to see the children being home schooled. ||||I accidentally locked my keys in my room and there was a moment where I had no way of contacting the owners, luckily another guest had their email and he came straight over and opened up my room.||||The host offered an airport transfer which was 70 sol - and it was trouble free, he had a sign for me and i was quickly taken to the apartment but an uber or a local taxi' are only between 35-45 sol to the Miraflores location. Depending on the effort factor - I would probably suggest using an uber if you don't mind to wait.||||The only slight problem I had was the bed was a little hard and it got cold in the night time - I would have liked an extra blanket available. ||||I tried to book a room here for my last 3 nights - but it was booked out, so if you are going traveling around Peru and enjoy your stay, book sooner than later and they...
