Runa'S Inn Machupicchu — Hotel in Machu Picchu

Hotel is next to railway, so quite noisy. We didn't actually sleep there, we arrived at 3am after a train derailled, so we just had a shower and a half an hour rest. Staff very friendly and accomodating, they went out of their way to wait for us to check-in and even prepared a breakfast to go without even asking. This is the spot we booked just to take a shower after using musty towels and blankets at the massage place (nature spa healing hands, do NOT go there 😅).

Check in was easy. It's cheap enough that it was worth it for us just to stop by for a shower and a short nap before our train back to Cusco. It's not fancy, but has a TV and enough outlets to charge your phones.

The host welcomed us full of good pieces of advice! Given that we had an early entrance at Machu Picchu the day after, he was very kind and prepared for us a nice pocket breakfast (sandwich, banana, quinoa snack, juice and a sweet caramel!). The location is just 2 min away from the bus stop that takes up to Mapi and the room was good and big enough!
