Randy's Bantayan Island Resort — Hotel in Bantayan Island

Booked for 5 nights, didn't stay there for more than 2 hours. Unfortunately already paid beforehand, but would rather give up on that money than stay there. On the pictures of our room there was a private shower a nice terrace with chairs and tables. Instead we got a 'room' in a laundry room with a 'bathroom' without a door, the toilet didn't have a seat on it and there was no sink. There was one plugin that worked in the entire 'room' for 4 people. Make it 0 as my friend got electrocuted when he plugged his charger in. All that for 140 pounds. Disgrace. Found a hotel room with everything that this hotel hasn't for a cheaper price down the road. Randy the owner took no responsibility for the mistake and didn't care that we just paid 140 pounds to live in a laundry room. The pictures didn't match what we got. Instead of a room with two double beds and a porch, which was the room that we paid for, we got two bunk beds in the laundry room. There was no toilet seat and no sink. We talked to the owner Randy and asked if there had been a mistake. He said that it was the correct room and that it wasn't his fault that the pictures didn't match the room he gave us. Instead of admitting his mistake and the fact that he was trying to cheat us, he gave us an ''offer'' for the room we had seen in the pictures, double the price that we already paid for the same room. Randy met me on the bus from Cebu City, and took me to his "Disneyland". He put me into a bamboo hut, which could be always better, but it was ok for my budget, because I didn't need a lot. ||If however someone wants some luxury, Randy has such rooms too (air-con, double beds, toilet paper made of pure silk etc).||||There is also a grill and drinks. The place is close to town, beaches and the port.||||I stayed there about 7 nights, and I had a good time on Bantayan. Every morning I stayed in Randy's garden under palm trees and enjoyed a drink.
