The staff of GV TOWER CEBU named Jodeth was seems very lazy to accomodate customer. This is my experienced sinced i have book my accomodation in the hotel.com , as i have called triced . I called to gv landline and staff answered named Jodeth , first I haven’t finished speaking of what is my concern or request for my room to bed changed so that it was ready before i arrived, jodeth spoke and she answer me immidiately without finishing me speaking , i said I have book in hotel.com , i am not yet finished talking then jodeth answered me “we do not book her into the hotel.com we accept walking applicant only” did you see she answered me different from what is my concern. it’s because she did not listen as we constinuously talking i did not get the toom changed request . So my mood was getting bad and doesnt want to talk to jodeth. As i wish i could just cancel my booking to this hotel but it was already near the check in date and couldnt refund. .

I decided to call on the other day before the date of my check in , i thought there is other staff . But Jodeth answered again. And guess what , its the same, she did not answer me correctly and doesnt want to listen to me to check my room, she told me to send the booking number to the viber number of GV , we are talking on the phone i have told her i will dictate my booking number . But She refused thrice . She like it on viber and said thank you , (she want to finished the call). How come a staff could not listen to the the customer before speaking and doesnt want to check the booking number while speaking and keep forward to viber . What is the sense of a landline number for the request. On my third call i have decided to ask her name and wanted a complain. And her name was Jodeth.. you cannot get a good service while you still not check-in...

This has been my worst hotel experience ever. They should probably be sued for false advertising. I reserved through Agoda and paid for a Deluxe Matrimonial room with balcony and queen size bed (I would hate to see the budget room, one step down would probably be a piece of cardboard box in the back alley!). The bed was "double" (54 inches wide), not "Queen size" (60 inches wide) as advertised. The only bedsheet was from a single bed, not wide enough to cover 2 people. That's OK because the air conditioner could not cool the room anyway and the sheet was only needed to keep the mosquitoes away. The TV did have a couple cable channels, 12 channels in all including local channels, but half were so snowy, we couldn't watch and the TV was the size of a small computer monitor so you would have to sit on the edge of the bed to see it. The sound was terrible, almost inaudible. Free wifi was announced in all rooms however they told us at the desk that it was intermittent. It was actually non-existant, another lie. We had to leave a P200 deposit for the key when we arrived, then when we left they asked if I had P300 because they had no change. When I said I did not have 3 one hundred peso bills, she then opened the drawer and pulled a package of 100 peso bills! Just too lazy. There was rarely a guard at the elevator in the garage so anybody could enter and go straight up to the rooms. The location is poor, lots of traffic so hard to get a taxi. This part of town is very rough so I would not recommend walking around outside. I would never recommend this...

The only thing that is good in this hotel is the Guard that is friendly 🥲. I chose this hotel as I need to attend an event nearby. Paid Deluxe which is around 1300+. I was expecting more because of course it's "GV TOWER".

Rooms- the room is very small compared to cheaper hotels. Compared to other cheap hotel the room size is just the standard or the cheapest room. The only mirror in the room is in the bathroom.

Bathroom- NO BIDET. shower not friendly. I think they need to renovate it lol. You need to figure out how to use the shower. Also, I think they need to clean the shower head or change the shower in total. SINK is stuck. It takes forever to drain.

Electricity OUTLET- only one outlet. You can't charge two phones at the same time because you only have one outlet. Or you need to bring your own extension wire.

TV-Tv is small like a computer monitor. There's no Netflix. It's just some local channel that you can't even relate to.

WIFI- advertise as free wifi. But it's better to use your Mobile data as it is so Slow. Like literally slow.

BED- it's so small. It's not even a queen size bed.

Amenities- for Pete's sake there is NONE. We were shocked as other cheap hotel is providing the basic like Shampoo, soap, toothbrush or toothpaste. We need to buy it outside which is frustrating. They only provide 1 roll of toilet paper.

Aircondition- jeez not strong enough. But pretty decent. I think Aircon cleaning will do the magic.

Overall experience. It's just meh, but would I recommend this? obviously NO. There are better hotels nearby and...

I've said it before... I really dislike writing negative reviews. I understand the Philippines has a cockroach problem. I've learned to live with that over the last six months. This hotel is literally cockroach infested. Thank God the second room they offered me seems to be clear of the little critters. The first room had roaches on every wall, all over the floor and even the bed. Make sure you book a twin deluxe with the terrace. The regular twin deluxe is far too small, even for a solo traveller. The dining area is not air conditioned, the hours of operation are slim (7am to 3pm), and ordering your food is done at the front desk. It's weird and caused confusion as their attention was easily divided between me ordering and handling check outs. No refrigerator provided in my room. There is hot water in an extremely small showering area, but it's difficult to regulate. No plastic bags in the trash cans. A TV so small (27") that viewing it from the bed is ridiculous. The terrace is huge and has a dining table, which are both rather useless all things condidered. I won't be returning. At the price, there are much better hotels nearer to Ayala and SM.

Affordable hotel (16 floors). You can book in advance here or check in at the front desk (7th floor). Their rooms have air coolers. They have clean comfort rooms. During my stay with friends, I found some used tissue in between the twin beds which is very disappointing. So I tried checking the bed covers and it seems like it was just flipped backward and not washed. The bath towels are good for drying but not skin-friendly as it is hard like a crisp chips. They have 2 small personalized soap and tissue. Non-working telephones. So if you want to contact their frontdesk, you can either visit it on the 7th floor or call them using your personal phone number (P.S They usually don't answer!). They also have available TV which is entertaining. During our stay, their WiFi is slow which you will be reminded at the front desk. You can also rent extra bed depending on the room booked. Extra person cost Php500 and extra bed cost Php200.

Should have check google reviews before booking, what a regretful experience! Rude and incompetent staffs, No wifi connection No signal tv Old-sweat smelling linens and pillows Old facility, old room, old cr No bidet Hotel vibe is good for a thai horror movie film. What a nightmare. 👎 Worst budget inn/hotel ever! EVER! During our stay there, we look for better options since NO INTERNET! If you're looking for better and also cheap options, try cebuview, sogo, travel express inn which were also nearby. (Walking distance) Will not coming back to this hotel.
