Do you remember a scary dream when you get somewhere and it is nothing like what you saw in the pictures? This place will make your dreams come true...
The place doesn't look that bad at the first glance - the building looks decent, the reception is small but looks okay, the room looks clean enough. Until you take a closer look...
When we opened the door to our room it had a very strong "freshly painted" smell inside. But there was nothing which looked freshly painted. We looked around a bit more, and soon we knew where the smell was from. Cockroach spray!!! We found some half dead corpses still partially twitching on the floor... And then, we took a closer look at the floor. It was still damp, but probably cleaned only with water, not any type of a detergent, as it had dirt quite ground into the floor surface. You would not want to walk barefoot on that floor. At least the bedding on the beds was clean and smelled fresh with no stains or sign of bedbugs.
Apart from that, the room looked "decent". It was rather small with 2 single beds, some hanging hooks and a small table with a chair.
The bathroom was even smaller. You could barely fit one person in. A tiny sink with a toilet seat right next to it, and a shower with a curtain.
As we soon found out, there were some issues with the bathroom equipment. To start with, the toilet didn't flush so we had to use a small bucket to flush it (minor discomfort as we knew we'd be spending very little time here). Secondly, although there was a shower facility, the pressure in the shower was close to nothing as most of the water was running down the shower pipe (guess the pipe was blocked and didn't allow for the water to flow through?). Annoying, but dealwithable with.
The only good thing about this place is its proximity to all the main historic spots in the city (pretty much a walkable distance).
In all honesty, I would avoid staying at this place, unless you don't mind dealing with...

We should’t have booked this accommodation. Room is dirty, bed linens are dirty too. Shower had hair everywhere. We got a room with a broken shower head, and when we complained they remembered that this room has a broken shower head. Moved us to a different room. Guess what? No toilet seat! At both rooms. No toilet seat at a private room is bad. If there were pictures we wouldn’t have taken it. If you are more than 1.70m tall, you cant stand straight at the shower and infront of the sink. Sink and toilet are too close, cant get to the shower without choosing which one to grind against. Water pressure is bad...
