To start with just want to say ken was a really lovely guy, really friendly and helpful with booking taxis etc.||||We were supposed to stay for 5 nights as was a good location and a good price but unfortunately we only lasted one. We was told there was air con in the rooms but we only had a weak fan which did nothing especially when it’s 30 degrees on the island it was like a sauna. Secondly it smelt really bad in the bathroom and there was only cold water out the shower, also the drains didn’t drain away properly so when using the toilet your standing in a inch of water from the shower. First night sleep wasn’t the worst but not great but we left on the 2nd night as the room was full of mosquitos and we found 9 in the bed. Also cockroaches outside the room and rats in the alley leading to it. Lastly there is a dog that’s caged up all day and night outside not sure if it belongs to the hostel but it’s outsife the front door and wasn’t nice seeing it caged the whole time. Room with AC is a ver good option, and room without Ac still a good option and good price. Bathroom: clean batrrom. Price: afordable.. Faire price. Host: Kent was very helpful.
