LOLO Panding INN — Hotel in El Nido

Lovely staff and owner, very welcoming and Gracious enough to take me and my friend on last minute because we didn’t like where we initially booked to stay in El Nido. Located on the corner of the main road, could easily walk to either Corong Corong or el nido or wave down a tricycle from right outside. Can be noisy at night though because of this so light sleepers bring earplugs. Souvenir shops are also right across the road. 1600 peso a night for our room, room 8. Beds are comfortable as are pillows, air con and tv work perfectly, big bathroom, balcony for smokers and the room and entire inn was very clean. Bit tight when you have to move around 2 big suitcases but worth the price you pay. Please do your self a favour, do not book their family room. The room is just one big room with 4 king single beds with a tiny shower/toilet smack bang in the middle of the room. If you have long legs, it will be hard to sit comfortably on the toilet because you will hitting the wall. The water in the shower is very weak, the basin is too small to even brush your teeth. The shower head and taps are tarnished which makes it looked mouldy.||There is no elevator and only high stairs to take your luggage up.||Across the road is a stretch of vendors which is distracting the view of the beautiful mountain.||Overall, the place...

We planned to stay in this place for 5 nights but checked out after the first night. It was the most terrible place I have ever slept in. When we checked in someone from the counter went rushing to the room with a can of spray in his hands. When we walked in to the room the smell of whatever they sprayed was overwhelming we had to leave the door open for about an hour. Little that we know the spray was to mask the smell of the bathroom. However, after a few hours the smell of the spray went away and the bathroom was starting to smell badly. It was such a poisonous smell that we couldn't sleep...
