The good: the staff are so lovely here, they couldn’t do more for you! They really care about your stay! Bev and Ian are super stars! ā¤ļø The rooms (we stayed in two over 3 weeks here) are comfortable, spacious and well provisioned. We really appreciate the mosquito nets over the beds and the air con was good. Breakfast was really nice and we enjoyed eating it in front of our room with nice view. We felt very safe here and there was always someone around for security purposes 24 hrs. We personally liked the location, only 5-10 minutes from town which is busy and noisy and Maremegmeg beach which is lively but not for us (so many bad reviews for accommodation there). There are also a fair few nice restaurants and bars which are much quieter (and in our opinion) nicer in easy walking distance.

The bad: there is a bar next door that plays music until 2230/2300 every night. It didn’t bother us as we’d be up until then anyway or have a drink there before bed. There is also a new hotel in progress next door, meaning there is some noise in the mornings from builders. Again not a massive issue. The beach isn’t really ideal for swimming due to many boats, but I’d recommend grabbing a tuktuk to Lio beach which is by far the best in the area. Lastly there are a lot of beach hustlers which try and sell you stuff even when you’re sat on your balcony. They are harmless though and will leave you be when you say no.

On the whole we enjoyed our stay and would stay again here without hesitation! El Nido is stunning, a really special part of the...

This is a great resort, located very close to the El Nido town, but also away from the towns traffic and noise. Trike to the town will cost 50 pesos. They do breakfasts on request, and they are great. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Resort only has 5 rooms, so it doesn't get very noisy either. All rooms face the beach, which is more of a boat dock yard and not suitable for swimming, but beautiful nonetheless. Only con, if I was being nit-picky, is that their sign can be missed if the trike driver doesn't know the place, but we didn't have that problem. The approach to the resort is a wooden walk way and can be a bit awkward to haul your luggage. But the hotel staff are always ready to help if you need it! Absolutely loved this place and looking forward to...

The only downside (if that is a downside) of this hotel is its location: its 5 min away by car from the main area in El Nido. The remaining, 10/10.

Staff were super nice and helpful. They greeted us with a welcome cocktail (which was delicious) and would help with anything we needed.

The place looks amazing, and rooms are super comfortable. They have taken the time to watch for and polish small details, and that is something you can feel.

Breakfast was really good, served to your room, and worth contracting.

Sometimes they run away from electricity, but immediately they connect a generator and everything is up and running again.

You even have a really good Italian just 3 min away walking through the beach.

Would definitely recommend staying at Maligaya, what...
