Booked this place for a family of four, two adults and two children under 6. Originally charged an upcharge for the 6 year old. Upon check in we find there's only two beds in the room/ villa. There was on king bed and a twin concrete platform with a mattress on top. Immediately I was like this can't be right. When i inquired they said all the rooms are the same. I ask what the $200 upcharge was for and I was told it's for the extra person even though the site says kids stay free. That might we heard an animal crawling on the ceiling and we just assumed it was a one off thing so we didn't mention it. The next morning when we went to "free breakfast* we were informed that only three of us would receive free breakfast and the fourth would need to pay. I immediately went to the desk and was like you have charged me $200 extra for my child to sleep on a concrete slab with no bigger room etc. Now you're telling me that only three people can have free breakfast? I asked to speak to a manager and of course no one was available to answer me. Night two the animal sounds continue and we have to call the front desk 3 times to try to remedy the situation. No luck. So we're up all night hearing scratching and crawling above our heads while trying to sleep. Next day we requested another room and finally got one by the evening of day three. We also had to request additional towels as if they only provide three towels for a family of four. We paid 5 star ⭐ money for a week at this place for one star accomodations. The only reason i gave this a two star rating instead of one is because of the workers that work there. They were very polite and tried to help where possible but you can tell they're being paid bare minimum and just following the rules management set. I would not recommend this place to anyone with a family greater than three persons. You'll be highly disappointed with what you receive for what they're charging and there's no one to answer legitimate questions you will definitely have. You will also be disappointed with...

At first everything seems nice but on the inside it’s a real mess. Everything started on the second day when we realized our bungalow is full of ants. The ”filtered drinking water”, tables, ceiling, walls and even bed were full of bugs. We immediately contacted the reception (5.30pm) and they said they will contact management. Till this day I dont know if there is any actual management, because the receptionist or us could never contact them🤷🏼‍♂️||The Coco Resorts solution to this ant problem was offering 50% of our last nights payment back to us (not even a full refund for a night we cannot spend because of their aunt problem???) or a ”deep clean” of the room. Trust me, their definition of deep cleaning is far from deep. After hours of trying to get someone to clean the room and trying to contact the management we got confirmation the room was cleaned. Only to find out all the ants were still in there and only the linens and towels were changed😂||It was around 9pm at this time, management was ”not working right now” and housekeeping was also out. Only option was to sleep in a bed full of ants and hope things would turn out better tomorrow. Next morning the management was supposed to be in the lobby at 8am, then 10am, then 1pm but they didn’t show up. Coco Resorts solution was to blame us for the ant problem (supposedly we brought there food when they had sugar etc on the tables before we arrived).||I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone. There are so many better places to stay for the same/lower price. The staff tried to play it nice but in the end they don’t care about their customers AT...

Disappointing Stay – Overpriced & Poor Service

We stayed at El Nido COCO Resort for two nights at 40,000 pesos (650€), and it was far from what we expected for the price.

Poor Service & Cleanliness Issues

No hand soap provided in the room.

Despite plenty of staff around, many seemed idle, more focused on their phones than assisting guests.

At the beach bar, despite five waiters, I had to wait 20 minutes for a bottled beer while they ate, chatted, or used their phones.

Cleaning service was unacceptable – we had to request three times for our room to be cleaned due to dejections found inside the room, on the exterior mattress, and even on the pillowcase, the private mini pool was full of sand and hasn't been clean even if we requested it.

Lack of Security & Privacy

No security guard at the entrance, allowing non-guests to pass through the resort after boat trips, which is concerning for safety and privacy.

Do not leave belongings outside your bungalow as there is no control over who enters the property.

Some Positives, But Not Enough

Beautiful and well-maintained garden.

Good breakfast.

However, the main swimming pool was not properly cleaned, with dead leaves left around all day.

Final Verdict: Not Worth It

This resort has the potential to be a great place, but poor service, lack of cleanliness, and overpriced rates make it a terrible value for money. We didn’t even try the restaurant because we didn’t want to spend any more money here.

Better options are available in El Nido at much lower prices. Avoid this place unless they change their management and...

A 10day trip with someone really special deserves nothing but the best hotel experience, UNFORTUNATELY, I was totally devastated when I got sight of the bungalow I reserved. I had really high expectations of the place as I checked their reviews online and the photos they provide in Google. The photos ended up to be photos of their deluxe villas, this being said, it's misleading! *The bungalow has a very thin wall made from bamboo sheets, from which you can hear everyone around even your neighbours' snores. - The bathroom is horrible. The sink was the worst part of it. There's also a terrible smell regardless if the toilet is clean or not. - We haven't had any staff to change our bedsheets and clean the room. (We stayed for 6 days in the bungalow!) - Towels were torn and the cheapest quality. -AC was noisy. * The villa, however, was aesthetically pleasing to eyes. Way better than bungalows. (Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days) -concrete walls - bigger bed. - private Jacuzzi -bigger bathroom - better lighting -bigger space - thicker towels * The reception staff were really nice. * The restaurant has really limited options for breakfast. Nof for people with dietary restrictions and definitely NOT for picky eaters. * The barista's always not around. (Never seen him during our entire stay) The location is great, it's by the sea. Near a couple of good restaurants too.

A nice, secluded and comfortable little resort only minutes from the beach (where the sunset views from La Plage are unreal). It has a nice small swimming pool which was usually very quiet, and a nice bar and restaurant area for drinks and food. The food was really disappointing, especially the breakfasts. The pancakes too big and cumbersome (in the continental breakfast oddly), the French toast soggy and bland (in the French breakfast). The American breakfast was also slightly underwhelming. The evening meals are just under par and you feel that with some tweaks and changes to the food could really elevate the place. The room itself was nice and clean. Quite modern but also feels quite authentic and Filipino. As it was our honeymoon they did make an effort to make the room nicely prepared and beautiful. However, They were a few things missing that you’d expect of a resort. In the bathroom there was nowhere to put towels or hand towels and There were no robes or slippers provided. The WiFi was really unreliable. Hardly ever worked. A really nice place to stay and I wish we had more time there, but with a few tweaks (mostly to the food), this place could be amazing.

Front beach family bungalow. Beds were comfortable and room size is good for 4-5 people. Toiletries, beach towels, coconut juice as welcome drinks, and drinking water dispenser (outside in the bar) are available. Staff are polite and helpful. You can book most of every activity and transportation from them and the price is just as how it is everywhere else. Tropical garden is pleasing to look at and well-tended. Except the unkempt front area of our bungalow where a small catamaran is parked. This place is pretty enough but something feels dull here. Shower has weak water pressure. There are no bedside lamps. Breakfast is disappointing but coffee is good. On their website, it says: "Direct view on the most scenic beach of El Nido." This is not true. That honor belongs to Marimegmeg and Nacpan beach not Corong Corong beach. In fact, Corong Corong has the ugliest beach amongst all you can reach by land in this town. Although if you walk very far to the left, you can have a splendid view of the sunset when it paints the skies of its colors.
