We had such a fantastic experience staying at Boracay Ocean Bay Hotel in March 2025! I traveled with my mom, husband and our two young kids (ages 4 and 6), and the hotel was perfect for our little family getaway.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in. They went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and offered great recommendations for family-friendly activities around the island.
Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable—plenty of space for the kids to play and for us to relax after a day of exploring. We didn't find any bugs or cockroaches but did see a little gecko running along the outside wall.
One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast that was included each morning. There was a good variety of options, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Even our picky eaters found something they loved!
Another big plus was the hotel’s location—just a short walk to the beach entrance. It made going back and forth with the kids super convenient, especially when we needed to grab something or take a break from the sun.
All in all, Boracay Ocean Bay Hotel was a wonderful choice, and we will definitely come back to stay here again on our next...
Read moreWe booked two family rooms for our trip last November 2024. Rooms were not inviting and pleasant at all. Rooms was quite old and bedsheets, cabinets and tables are dusty. Ceiling fan had squeaky sound. Worst part is one of our room had cockroach on the bed. Staff just sprayed local insecticide and re-clean the room. We asked the manager-on-duty to transfer us to another room and she agreed, but the new room still dusty. There's a presence of cobwebs on walls and ceilings. Curtains noted with stains and dirt. No bidet on restrooms and hot/cold showers are not available. Water pressure is low can't use shower properly. Insufficient lightings some lights are busted. Some staff aren't smiling. No outside towels, so you have to bring your own if you need one when you swim. The only nice about this hotel is it is near beach area especially Astoria which is a common assembly area for water activities (just2 minutes walk) and it is located in Station 1. They serve plated breakfast with a slice of fruit and a choice of brewed coffee, juice or water. The real downside is the cleanliness of the rooms which is a...
Read moreBooked 7 night stay, through an online site, when arrived was shown to room on 2nd floor, room itself was well presented and clean.||Breakfast is ok a decent selection of filipino dishes,||The location is on the main road but close to beach a couple of minutes walk away.||Night security is provided by guard who is friendly.||The downside of this hotel is that it appears to be undergoing building work and there are bags of concrete and work tools etc visible as you head up to rooms,||Apparently rooms are only cleaned and serviced upon request at the front desk, we were told this on our 3rd day, when we asked for room to be cleaned.||Our Stay was the week after holy week and rates had been obviously been increased for high season, however increased to such a rate with poor service and facilities means for same money there are much better hotels available in Boracay.||Wifi is probably the most unreliable and slowest I have found in many years travelling in the Philippines.||Had such simple services as daily room cleaning and servicing been completed then this would have...
