Patio Pacific Boracay is a decent and accessible accomodation located at Station 1. It is non-beachfront, but the shoreline is approximately 3-5 minutes walking distance. D-mall is also near the hotel, which is about 4 minutes away via e-bikes.
Besides its good location, I would also commend the cleanliness of the whole hotel. The common areas, such as the pool and restaurant, are all well maintained. The room seems to be newly renovated, and the housekeeping services was available everyday during our stay.
The breakfast they served was good, but don't expect a wide variety of dishes from the buffet. I recommend their egg station, where you can choose toppings for your omelet.
For their services, every staff we encountered were warm and polite. They were attentive to our needs, especially the housekeeping, restaurant, and security staff.
Surely, there are several good points in staying at Patio, but there were several things that I/we don't like during our stay.
First, the assigned room for us was located in the other side of the street of the main building where all of the amenities is located. It was quite a hassle going back and forth the street. We were also assigned a room at the 3rd floor, which was a struggle to climb for the elderlies, because there are no elevators.
For the room itself, it is clean as I've mentioned, but it is small for a group of 4. Only 1 chair was available, because there were no space to add more. The extra bed was cramped in between 2 other beds. The door of the comfort room is just a frosted glass sliding door, that's why you can see through it. The water pressure of the shower was also erratic. There were also party noises coming from the back of the building at midnight, which means that the rooms are not sound proofed
Some of my concerns could be addressed only if prior arrangements with the management was brought up before our arrival. I actually blame our travel agency for not communicating our needs to the the hotel.
So, as a suggestion, if you are directly booking with Patio, contact them especially if you are traveling with kids or elderlies. Opt for a room located at the lower floors of the "main" building to avoid hassle such as crossing the streets or climbing several flight of stairs.
All in all, our stay was okay. Will rate it at around...
Read morePatio Pacific exceeded our expectation during our recent stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is just between station 1 and 2, so its a short walk to the beach, d'mall, restaurants and bars. It may not be a beach front hotel but we dont mind walking 30 to 50 meters to the beach. They have a sufficient choices for buffet breakfast such as filipino favorites (garlic rice, tapa, chorizo, bacon, sardines, dried fish,& pancit), bread, pastries, fruits. They have a pool and a gym for health buffs. If the pool was heated it could have been perfect for kids. Since you are in an island, mosquitos may be a problem, but nothing that can't be solved by mosquito repellants. It is noteworthy to know that the property is divided to a west and east wing divided by the main road. Overall we recommend and would certainly go back to...
Read moreWe have unsatisfactory recent stay at this Hotel. I found myself in a situation that would be every hotel guest’s worst nightmare.
Some background: I made 5D4N reservation with my husband last December 19-23, 2021. It was our honeymoon so I was expecting a great Boracay experience.
Last December 23, I was scratching all over my arm and back and later I realize that it was a bedbugs bites, I told my husband, and found out that he has a bedbugs bites at his back as well. I just went to see a pharmacist to recommend something to me.
I told my travel agency regarding this matter and it doesn’t seem the hotel care...
