Great hotel! Location was excellent. Quick walk to either the beach or to the main road. Welcome drinks were a nice touch, and the elevator was a lifesaver for our group which had a couple of seniors. Rooms were spacious enough even with extra beds, and water pressure is not a problem. Rooms can be better soundproofed, but the rest is great. Aircon is able to cool the room well.||Breakfast is good although serving can a bit more. For the price though, can't really complain. Free cocktails were also appreciated.||They provide beach towels and mats for when you need to take it to the beach, and if you're going for island hopping and activities, the jump off point is right by the part of the beach where the alleyway from the hotel leads to.||But capping it all off was the service. I've been talking with Denny for the entire time i was arranging the trip and it's been all clear and reassuring knowing someone knowledgeable and professional was taking the call and all the notes, modifications and requests I had. This was a great plus given that we were a big group (20+). Serene was able to cater to us really well, from breakfast service to turndown, for beach needs, and up to checkout. Cath was also responsive to our requests while we were checked in, including our early check in request as we got to the hotel quite before standard time.||I'll recommend Serene to my friends who are looking for a right-priced hotel with a good hard product and...
Read morePros: close to the beach close to a lot of restaurants, but not too busy, it’s still serene staff was great, I had a tummy ache and they did not have a hotbag I can borrow, they made a makeshift hot bag with a water bottle with warm water and a small towel to cover it, very very helpful restaurant was good beach basket was nice beach banig was nice we can leave our bags at checkout and explore more before our flight
Cons: from my room, the view is the roof and top window of the house beside the hotel, I was on the second floor, and the house is right in front of the window balcony roosters are loud from the nearby house the room is dated the water pressure was so high that it spilled over the sink, I have to try to open it slowly so it doesn’t splash directly on my shirt 50php to borrow beach towel shower is not hot, they have hot water but it runs out and you basically have to wait until warm water comes out, maintenance came and thats the solution offered, it can take 15-30 mins before hot water comes again
The room rates I guess fits the facility of the hotel. When I booked it, I just thought its leaning on a simple yet efficiently functioning type of hotel rooms. Love the staff, but wont be staying here again..
PS. Did not have pictures of the room, but sharing the...
