Honestly, the BEST diving school anyone can wish for. I thought I might just try diving but as soon as I came in and was spoken to, I committed myself to the whole course. I ended up not JUST trying, not JUST doing one but THREE different courses. And itâs only because thatâs what time permitted. Had I had more holidays, I would have definitely done more.
Free Willy Diving School goes way beyond just a diving school. It is a family of passionate, knowledgeable and professional diving enthusiasts who are so friendly, caring and helpful beyond anything Iâve ever experienced. I am grateful to have been a part of that for the duration of my stay. Individually, they are each a beautiful, generous souls that helped me more than they will probably ever know. You donât just get professionals with equipment and skills but people who genuiely love what theyâre doing and their passion is very contageous đđ
I knew I was in safe hands, their equipment is well maintained, sanitised and taken care of. The courses themselves were amazing â I had one on one classes with the same instructor throughout, no rush, plenty of skills practised, I was shown the most beautiful corals and sealife, any support I needed â they were always there to help. They have their own secret hidden gems and are happy to show you. This is honestly none of this âconveyor beltâ schools where they dip you in and out of water. You get a proper SCUBA diving experience. Free Willy made me fall in love with diving.

   Read moreWe found Free Willy Diving through Googles reviews as there are plenty of diving centers on the island of Boracay. Once we entered the center for getting an impression if this is the right place for my daughter and me, we were immediately convinced that this is the right place. The crew was extremely friendly and was speaking an excellent English. My questions were understood (not like in other places) and although the price was around 10% more expensive, I don't regret the invest. The equipment was above average (e.g. build in weights in the west). Most of all we enjoyed the personal and small groups with the diving instructors during our 5 days of diving. While other boats were filled with dozen of tourists (up to 6 divers per instructor) we had always one or two instructors during our advanced and nitrox course. We can also recommend the very tasty crepe they sell in their little place on the beach.    Read moreI'm deeply disappointed to be writing this. I initially had a positive experience and came back for a second day of diving. I did one dive and was then offered another by the dive master for a fantastic price of 300 pesos extra. I double-checked the offer with him, he confirmed it, and we had a great second dive. I paid the amount we agreed upon and left happy. My opinion completely changed when a staff member came to my hotel late at evening. She insisted I owed more money because the dive master had made a pricing mistake. I was shocked. To have my peace disturbed and be put in such an uncomfortable position at my hotel, on my very last night, was beyond unprofessional. An internal miscommunication on their part should never become the customer's problem, let alone a reason to confront them at their accommodation. To avoid escalating the situation, I paid. What should have been a beautiful memory of Boracay was completely tainted by this disrespectful behavior. Please, save yourself the potential stress and find a company that values...
