Read moreMay 2024 I was picked up at 8:15am. I was made to pay the driver. All other centers this is included. I was not told I had to pay. Krissa arrived after 9am. The only person who spoke to me apart from the lady at reception who asked for the payment, and gave me a form to fill out that was water damaged. Was Buck. He was amazing btw. On the boat Krissa was not really interacting with me and I was the only diver. Her dive brief was brief at best. When we did the first dive to the ship wreck I asked her what the fish was called, and she had no idea. After the dive she was happy to do a 30 min surface interval, I wanted the standard hour, I have had, in 1: Thailand 2: Egypt 3: Zanzibar 3: Mafia Island 4: El Nido Also after all dives in the above places there was always a snack after the dive, not on this trip. As krissa was pissed off with me after the first dive, the second dive was a race to finish my tank and re-surface. She had no interest in showing me fish at all. At one point my fin came lose and she had no idea. I then had to swim up to her to ask her to slow down I saw a star fish which I had not seen before and I had to catch her, stop her and bring her back so I could see the star fish. I was so annoyed after the end of the dive, I did not want to do my 3rd one. We then went back to shore and the shop and again it was like I was an inconvience to the whole centre. I went for lunch and when I came back I met Tony, whom I believe is the manager, and for my 3rd dive he made Krissa bring the fish identification sheet with. Not that helped much. I’m sorry but as a dive master are you not meant to know the fish in your local area. the 3rd dive also felt like a race. She asked me how many bars I had left at about 35 min of dive time, I had a 100bars , but starting deploying the smb, and we began the safety stop when I was told safety stop was done at 80bars. Honestly this was so far my worst dive experience and if I ever come back to this Island , I will not be using the dive centre again, nor will I recommend them to anybody.
The only other person in the dive shop who showed any interest in me was a young man behind the counter who helped me out of my wetsuit.
All in all a...
