Mang Inasal CityMall Boracay — Restaurant in Malay

Please train your crew. They are in the food service industry. It affects the experience so much if your crew are frowning while serving customers. I love Mang Inasal and this is by far the worst branch for me. I don't know, maybe I caught them on a bad day but even so, pls act accordingly when serving customers.

And the unwelcoming gestures wasn't even half of it. We weren't able to get free soup because they said the bowls aren't ready yet. We waited. We finished eating and the bowls are still not ready. We always enjoyed our Mang Inasal meals with hot sinigang soup so it was a major let down.

Our halo halo wasn't served had we not followed it up on the cashier's desk.

We also overheard other customers complaining of delayed serving of their orders. Though that's none of our concern but it was worth mentioning.

I KNOW THE FPOD SERVICE INDUSTRY IS A VERY EXHAUSTING JOB BUT A SMILE IN OUR FACES CAN GO A LONG WAY.

While the food here is genuinely enjoyable, my recent experience was marred by poor service. Despite being the only person in line, I waited for 15-20 minutes at the cash register before my order was taken. The staff member was busy preparing rice for takeaway orders, leaving me standing there unattended for an extended period.

When my order—a simple chicken and rice dish—was finally taken, it took an additional 20 minutes to be served. What made this more frustrating was that the meal was already prepared and visible from where I was standing. Typically, this restaurant serves orders within 15 minutes, so waiting 40 minutes in total for a single meal at a fast-service establishment was incredibly disappointing.

The food itself is great, but the inefficiency in service needs significant improvement to match the quality...

Stopped by to get some takeaway for dinner. It was part of the food court complex in City Mall so we stopped by after grocery shopping. After ordering you get a number which they call out when its ready. If you eat in there is an all you can eat rice option. The food was cheap and it is nice. You have two options for the chicken set, either the top half or the bottom half, the latter being more expensive. Had both the chicken and the pork and both were tasty. Palabok was also nice.
