I’m sorry but this was really really bad. We had one of the set menus and barely touched the food. One of the worst meals I have had in quite some time.
I think we might just have been unlucky and came in on a bad day, but there are also a lot to ask for in the menu itself. Like why serve a “Ricotta Caprese” and serve it without basil and tomatoes as well - when a caprese is as simple as mozzarella, basil and tomatoes!?! This was just a green salad drenched in balsamic vinegar with a ricotta based sandwich spread on the side.
Steak felt boiled and was supposed to be served with béarnaise sauce but instead came with a weird truffle hollandaise!? When we asked for béarnaise we were instead served a tasteless oil and egg emulsion without tarragon or vinegar.

Read morePizza was good. Snapper was ok (would have preferred it simply grilled with lemon wedge instead of tomatoes & mozzarella). Tomato soup was ok (texture not smooth, more similar to a pomodoro sauce)
Pasta was lacking. Ordered linguine with meatballs in pomodoro sauce. Disappointed to see cooked fresh pasta with sauce ladled on top (like Jollibee) instead of finishing the pasta in the sauce. End result was having to mix the pasta ourselves which became too dry. It’s a small detail but can have very big impact in authenticity, taste, texture, and presentation.
