Estoria Manila — Restaurant in Manila

The place looks great and the staff were welcoming and attentive until we told them the pasta they served had lots of uncooked pasta mixed in it. We even showed it to them and they saw how hard it still was. It couldn’t be eaten. They waited until we finished eating and asked the bill to tell us they forfeited “nlng” the bill for the pasta as if they were doing us a favor. We didn’t eat the pasta and early on informed them of the problem. It was a hassle because had they told us, we could’ve maybe ordered another food because we went there hungry and expecting to have our fill. And suddenly the good service seemed to disappear and they seemed awkward to entertain/notice us after we paid. We’d normally tip even with what happened but we had a change of heart because of how they dealt with the situation.

Housed in the 80s Anex building. Estoria Manila takes inspiration as the Little Intramuros of Ermita.

It's high walled facade with arched doors was influenced by the Ermita Church across.

GOOD: Top notch service. One of the servers went out to assist with parking outside. Once seated, another server immediately came over with a glass of water and menu. They anticipate their guests needs! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Paella was generous. Had a whole Crab🦀 on top! Can feed 3 people with another main course on the side. Delicious! Elegant interiors. Appreciated the modern Filipiniana theme throughout.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I recently attended an event at Estoria Manila and was genuinely impressed. The place has a cozy but elegant vibe perfect for intimate gatherings or small celebrations. The staff were attentive and very polite, and the food? Super delicious and beautifully plated! I especially loved the kare-kare, pancit, chicken and the desserts.

The venue is clean, well-organized, and feels warm and welcoming. You can tell they really care about service and presentation. I’d definitely consider hosting a future event here or coming back for a quiet dinner.
