Dragon Noodle Centre has been a cornerstone of my dining experience since childhood. For over 30 years, it has been my go-to place for comforting bowls of noodles and congee. Established in 1977, the restaurant was once a bustling haven for food lovers, but the rise of competition and changing trends have dimmed its popularity. Despite the quieter ambiance, one thing remains unchanged—the quality of their food.

My absolute favorite is their Toast Beef Tendon Noodles (hiwalay sabaw; soup separated), paired with either fishballs or dumplings. The star of the show is undoubtedly their noodles, with a texture so perfectly springy and satisfying that no other restaurant I've tried comes close to replicating it. It’s this consistency in flavor and quality, coupled with a deep sense of nostalgia, that keeps me coming back.

This is the first time that I will be writing a review that is against the majority of reviews here in google. We were going to National Museum Complex and ended up here since it is nearby and its rating is high, so why not try yeah? We tried wanton tendon noodles and dumpling tendon noodles as recommended by some. First, I was expecting for incredibly tasting soup, which was unfortunately not. The soup was bland, it was not as rich as some described it. The noodles was just fine. The beef and tendons were more disappointing. I am a fan of tender meat but this one is too tender you can almost feel nothing in your palate. Well, if others prefer it to melt in their mouth, I am sorry it's not what I prefer in my noodles soup. Probably not...
