WILL NEVER RECOMMEND – WORST EXPERIENCE WITH DISCRIMINATION AND UNPROFESSIONALISM||||Our recent short vacation turned into a nightmare because of the terrible service and discriminatory behavior we experienced at this establishment. We made a reservation, paid a down payment, and clearly requested a room on the 2nd floor. To anyone familiar with common building layouts in the Philippines, that means the floor above the ground floor. However, the owner, Felina, argued that the 2nd floor is actually the 3rd floor, which is absurd and misleading.||||When we arrived, we were told our reserved room had been given away because we were “late”—even though we had a confirmed booking and already paid. Christian, a staff member, said the room was handed to someone else by his brother or sister. What’s the point of a reservation if it won’t be honored?||||Still trying to salvage our trip, we checked into the new room offered to us—on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The room was old, the red bedsheets smelled dirty, and the bathroom was unsanitary. We didn’t complain at first and just used our own sheets, hoping to avoid further stress.||||Then came the most unacceptable part: While we were settling in, Christian was on the phone with the owner and openly made a racist comment in Tagalog, calling my husband a “n**r,” assuming he wouldn’t understand. This was said behind his back and in a mocking tone. My husband confronted him calmly, but the apology that followed was insincere and delivered with attitude.||||We came to Puerto Galera for a relaxing family trip—with kids in tow—but were met with stress, disrespect, and blatant discrimination. We spoke with the owner and decided to leave the property. Since the room we reserved was given away and we were treated terribly, we asked for a full refund. Shockingly, Felina only agreed to return half and threatened to call the barangay if we insisted. We accepted the barangay involvement and requested a face-to-face meeting—but no one showed up. They simply sent half the amount back.||||This kind of behavior—from both staff and management—is appalling. Discrimination, unprofessionalism, and refusal to take responsibility for their own mistakes made our trip unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.||||Avoid this place at all costs. Not worth your money, your time, or...
Read moreWe booked an accommodation for 2d1n here. The owner Ma'am Felina was so accommodating on us, she provided Kuya Alvin to pick us at the terminal at the White Beach. Since we arrived at Puerto Galera earlier than we expected, they let us to leave our bags at the guest house so we can tour the beach. After we had lunch and dipped ourselves at the beach they allow us to check-in 12:30. Since the guest house was not at the beach you can have a good night sleep after partying at the White Beach. ||||The path way going to the guest house was safe. It is not that far from the beach front PROMISE :)||||The only thing that challenge us was the water pressure when all the guests use the shower at the same time. But since this is a vacation we just laugh about it at surviving the body washing challenge. ||||I will recommend this guest house to my...
Read moreThe Place is homey and clean. The room we booked which is Family Room have its own cook wares and utensils that we are able to cook our own food which saves up a lot of money since the resto's lined near the beach are all quite expensive and not that good actually. 😊 Also, they have a mini store at the ground floor where you can buy water and other needed things or food for the stay. I would highly recommend the place for an awesome and enjoyable vacay away...
