It's kinda big and spacious but; the room smells so mouldy and damp, it slaps you in the face as you enter the room! the fridge is so loud, I had to switch off for the night, there's no hot or even warm water, whatever they say.. (wait a bit, really? I could wait until morning but the hot water will never come from this shower!) and the cleaning is a joke here. The floor is dirty and full of sand bits and hairs, the shower mouldy and on some places the grouting missing -so the water leaking in the walls-, the shower wall is soapy and dirty after who knows how many guests! Cobwebs, smeary dirty mirrors, doors, handles, switchers all dirty. I guess this is the standard everywhere or no one is checking the quality of the cleaning service! They don't use limescale remover or bleach, the place doesn't smell clean or any kind of cleaning products but that suffocating artificial air freshener that's on when you arrive. The location is out of nowhere on a street, the road is very bad- I know it not the hotel's business - so or you break your ankle or the tricycle will shake your brain out. The staff was nice and overall it's quiet there, the bed linens are cotton and the mattress is great so one of my best sleeps in the Philippines but I recommend a new cleaner and a good clean to the AC, as this mouldy smell is absolutely disgusting and makes people sick!

I am pleased to say that I had a very satisfactory stay at this hotel. The ambiance is pleasant, and the establishment offers a range of amenities that contribute to a relaxed and comfortable experience. The hospitality are kept to a good standard of cleanliness. The minibar is well-stocked with drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. For those looking to maintain their fitness routine, there is a mini gym. The hotel restaurant is also good and serves some nice food. The iced blend coffees are a good hint. I would recommend trying them. Unfortunately, the communication between the team can be improved. However, the team is generally very supportive and transfers guests to agencies for adventures. The location is not so central, so it's helpful to have a reliable tricycle driver. Overall, I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

The food here at the restaurant it's tasty and fresh.. what can i say.. i recomand this place with all my heart!! Ps. The owner is always present (has a small and beautiful Pomeranian dog 😍) and he is verry envolved that you will have high quality service. Also he is a verry nice guy and you can talk with him about everything (he give great tips regarding Palawan)... thank you for everything and hope we will come again!

I had to reach out to Munting Paraiso to set up an airport pickup (included) since they never reached out to me. Upon my arrival, I was told that they had overbooked so I would be staying in a room at the owner's house which is at the back of the property. They promised they would have my bungalow ready by lunch time and to compensate me for this, they would give me complimentary breakfast. I had no choice but to accept since 1) I arrived late in the evening, and 2) it's too late to cancel and book elsewhere. It turns out that only continental breakfast was free so they tried to make me pay but I didn't because the restrictions weren't communicated clearly to me. The cost of breakfast is a very small fraction of cost of one night so I didn't see how that made up for not having my bungalow ready. But to make things worse, they didn't even have my room ready until 8pm at night. The staff only had excuses as to why it wasn't ready and they avoided me so they didn't have to tell me. I was really disappointed and upset because it was my birthday week and I couldn't even relax in my own space. The bungalow I got smelled like smoke and didn't have my belongings as promised. The staff retrieved my belongings and sprayed the room with so much air freshener I could taste it. It was too late to open the doors to air it out because of the bugs. It was also a hassle to do laundry onsite because I didn't have the minimum required so they suggested I go into town to do my laundry which is not convenient for me at all. I just gave them all my clean and dirty clothes to wash so I'd maybe reach the minimum. My laundry didn't even get picked up on time so I didn't have any clean clothes until I got my bungalow too. The owner is around the resort but he's useless and just lets the staff handle everything. He also has a dog that will bark and bark at you as if he's gonna bite you, which is quite annoying. Anyway, days later the staff figured out it was my birthday because of my passport and they did sing happy birthday to me with a cake and rose which was really nice. However, it doesn't make up for the horrible experience I had. I never want to come...

My stay at Munting Paraiso was truly a memorable experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality, and the check-in process was smooth and effortless. The hotel’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect — from the beautifully appointed rooms to the stunning views that greeted us each day.

One of the highlights was the outstanding service. The staff went out of their way to ensure that every need was met, and their personal touches made us feel valued and cared for throughout our stay. Whether it was arranging a special dinner reservation or recommending local attractions, they made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable time.

We also loved the amenities — the spa treatments were incredibly relaxing, and the pool area was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The on-site restaurant served exquisite dishes that showcased local flavors, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal.

Overall, Munting Paraiso made our trip unforgettable with its perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and excellent service. It’s a place I’ll always look back on with fond memories and one I’d highly recommend to anyone seeking a truly...
