Foral Villarosa is a small beautiful hotel, with lots of charm, restaurant and a pool steps from your door. Upon arriving, you have no view of the hotel from the street. All you see is the gate and a concrete wall, but once you step inside you instantly feel secluded from the world outside. The front desk clerks have helped with booking tours (and pick up reminders), sending us to a grocery store and giving us good advice while here in Puerto Princess. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and courteous and will bend over backwards to help you with your needs. The rooms are small, but very efficient. They include AC, a safe for valuables, toilet with running water, and a shower with a water heater. The bed is good sized, firm, but only has sheets on it. If you are like me, I am more comfortable with my small travel blanket draped over top of my sheet. We usually cool the room down when we get in at night, then just turn it off as we are falling asleep. The restaurant is very good. They do have set hours, but still very convenient. The menu consists of great Filipino favorites as well as a bit of international fare. My husband was not disappointed in his bacon, bread and eggs. The common area in Floral Villarosa consists of a large pool you can swim laps in, many areas for sitting and socialing, sunbathing lounge chairs, a hammock, a dining hut, a nap or maybe massage hut. The common area is outdoors, but it uses the beautiful local flora of the area to be the center point of it's charm. At night they set out candles and illuminate the area giving it a very romantic feel. I would recommend this hotel for 1-2 people wanting a secluded getaway minutes from the Puerto...

On January 2024, I paid 50% of the total price for 8 nights, as it's their reservation policy. I expected to obtain a receipt or proof of payment. Nothing was sent even after so many back and forth emails, FB messages and even long-distance calls. From January until June 2024, their employee, Jo-Ann, never bothered to send a receipt of payment. With all the scams happening in the Philippines, international clients, like us, would logically think that there's been a fraud. No good business would take your money and not give you a receipt. No good business would allow clients to literally beg to have a receipt of the payment sent. No good business would allow a client to not have a receipt 6 months after payment. No good business would allow to have such an employee interact very unprofessionally and unscrupulously with any patron. Payment receipts should be issued every time a payment is made on a sale - even if it's a deposit or partial payment.||Events happen to us for a reason. On our arrival date, I took back my 50% payment. The positive result after this negative circumstance: We found a luxurious, very tranquil and truly spacious hotel with highly professional staff.||Cheap accomodations are sometimes good but this Floral Villarosa doesn't count...

Great stay for the price! Originally stayed in Deluxe King Room 10 but had to move to Room 8 (also a Deluxe King) due to mosquitos constantly being in the room. I think they were coming in from the bathroom however the staff ended up spraying that room and had me move to the other room where we had no issues at all! The rooms have a/c and a tv (tv wasn’t working in room 8 but that was totally fine for me) The pool was clean and the plants all around make beautiful scenery. There a bike rental place across the street which was super convenient, this hotel is also a good distance away from traffic/noise but close enough to get to the main

Sara and the rest of the staff were very nice. Breakfast isn’t included but it was good and not expensive at all. We made use of the pool which was kind of warm (I assume due to the hot weather) but nevertheless it was still so refreshing and there were portions of the pool that were shaded by the palm trees.

For those confused like me: Even though their sign says “Floral Villarosa,” the name of this place is Aywan on booking sites (and it’s actually the blue building across the street from where...

Floral Villarosa, with its lush gardens, hidden-away feel, and convenient location, is an almost perfect boutique hotel. Recommended if you're looking for a quaint, quiet hotel. What I loved: - FV is an almost perfect boutique hotel. Its lush gardens give it a hidden-away feel. Almost all of the rooms have a view of the pool. Its rooms are quaint and tastefully decorated. All of the rooms have their own outdoor seating area, and if you wake up early enough you can lounge there listening to the chittering of birds. - Convenience. There are tricycles and sari-sari stores right outside the resort What I liked: - Its restaurant only serves breakfast, but for lunch and dinner you can order from their partner restaurant. They'll deliver it to your room for a 60-peso delivery fee. What I noticed: - Being a garden resort, the place teems with insects. I got bitten a few times by ants, but in general, this shouldn't be a problem if you use insect repellent lotion. What I didn't like: - nothing. I liked almost everything about the place. It was the perfect last stop for our Palawan trip.

This is a great place to stay in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Its location is quiet and there are many restaurants nearby. The staff were delightful and very friendly. The gardens are beautiful and very well kept and the swimming pool is an added bonus and is very clean. Our only complaint is that the a/c in our room was very noisy and it was difficult to adjust it to set a comfortable temperature which meant a disturbed sleep. I would suggest upgrading the a/c to a more modern system. I find that old and malfunctioning a/c is a common problem in the Philippines. The Philippines need to up their game if they hope to compete with other south East Asian countries like Thailand when it comes to proving well functioning a/c system at accommodation providers.
