This hotel is okay for a short stay. The staff are very nice and can book you tricycles, tours, there’s even a free airport shuttle which is great. Bed was reasonably comfortable and sheets were soft. They do pension service (not sure what that entails) but it may be very handy for some. Free coffee and water available.
However the room had lots of smears on the walls. A big lipstick smear, a bogey next to the bed, and other marks on the walls from previous guests. Room was clean other than that.
After check in I hopped in the shower almost straight away. The water pressure on the first night was rubbish. I was mid shower when the water disappeared completely. We messaged the hotel, as the receptionists had already left within minutes of our arrival and the reception area was dark (this was only early evening). The reception person the next morning said they saw the message but they were asleep… The following day the water was normal so we must have been unlucky that first day.
We booked a tour to the underground river through the hotel. After looking online we agreed a reasonable price. Online tours stated pick up around 7am. Hotel tells us it’s 8am pick up, despite us double checking with them if that’s correct. We were awoken by the reception person that the tour guide is here to pick us up, at 06:50am. Somewhere someone had made a mistake, whether it was the hotel or tour, I am not sure.
If you’re looking to book a tour maybe book it through another company. I cannot remember the company the hotel used for the river tour but they were badly organised so try and not go with them either. The tour guide avoided giving us change for the environmental fee when we handed him the money in the morning. We had to ask for it when we got to the hotel at the end of the day. Make of it...
Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel for 1 night, and for the price (800/night for 2 people), you definitely get what you pay for. The room itself is quite basic, lacking amenities like free shampoo or soap, but it's clean and functional for a short stay.
The standout feature is the free shuttle service, which picks you up from the airport—super convenient and a nice touch. Additionally, they offer free cold and hot water, which is great, and the Wi-Fi is strong, making it a solid choice for those needing to work during their stay.
Overall, if you're looking for an affordable, no-frills place with good connectivity and convenience, this hotel is a...
Read more"no running water place" visiting Puerto princesa i stoped for 1 night at this hotel. this place is overpriced, it should cost half because the aircon did not cool down the room and there was no running water at times. Because they depend on the cities water supply completely and did not invest in a basic tank and pump. for the price paid around 14 USD i got something acceptable around the area a week before. I reported this to agoda, and they did not do anything about it, they still selling it. im only asking for basic living...
