Cotton House — Hotel in Łódź

This was a clean, comfortable place with a bit of a cold business feel to it. It's in a gated complex in a non-descript neighborhood of a city that doesn't seem to have a real center. It's a short walk to the tram line that takes you to the main sights. ||The living/dining/kitchen area was very spacious, and all the facilities were new and worked perfectly. Super comfy mattress and plump pillows, blackout curtains, good climate control. ||The kitchen was not particularly well stocked, which was the story pretty much everywhere we stayed in Poland. They don't use cloth dish towels or toast their bread, apparently. There was a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities, which was nice. ||The receptionist was helpful and pleasant. Good alternative for hotels and quite affordable, we paid less than 800 zl for apartment with 2 rooms for 2 nights. Very clean, all what you need for short stay is already provided. Plenty of space too, although we haven't spend much time there. There was even balcony.

My only complain would be bed: was quite hard and not comfy.

For 35 zloty you can also get breakfast: eat as much as you like and choice is quite wide, everybody should get something for themselves. Great deal if you have limited time or just wanna fill your belly for most of the day. Since we stayed for comic con latter was an option for us.

Top locatie, centrum is goed te belopen. Al kun je ook prima met de tram of de Uber. Ontbijt is netjes en goed, wel te duur (45 zl pp). We hadden een appartement met 2 slaapkamers. Met kinderen is dit ideaal. Let op: geen kinderstoel of commode aanwezig. Kinderbed kun je reserveren. Dit hadden we gedaan, maar was bij aankomst niet aanwezig. Vonden we uiteindelijk niet erg, maar was wel een minpuntje in de communicatie. Verder is het personeel zeer aardig en behulpzaam! Complimenten. Parking 30 zł per dag, ideaal! Zeer veilig, achter gesloten hek en dichtbij de ingang. Keukenapparatuur en wasmachine zijn van Amica. Afwerking niet van de allerbeste kwaliteit, maar ziet er wel mooi uit. Echt leuk voor een paar dagen, maar niet geschikt voor intensief gebruik. Indien je langer blijft: neem wat basisspullen mee voor in de keuken. Afwasmiddel, sponsje, 1 afwasblokje en keukenrol zijn aanwezig. Servies is beperkt. Je kunt wel een eenvoudige maaltijd koken. Er is geen koffiezetapparaat. Bij langer verblijf krijg je 1x per week schoonmaak + schone handdoeken. Af te spreken met de receptie. Grote tv en zeer goed werkende airco's in alle kamers aanwezig. Bedden zijn goed en schoon.
